A good laptop, and handles video editing like a dream! Screen is sharp and the drive is quick! It has only been in use about a month, so hard to say on the quality and endurance. It does get taken to work every day, though! I bought an IBM Yoga 740 for me, and wish I had checked out this machine. This ASUS is a bit more expensive, but more memory, SSD and the screen is much sharper than my Yoga.

Wanted to upgrade my 2012 ASUS laptop. Couldn't be more happy with it, very fast and quiet.

Wanted to love this computer, but it has some quirks I didn't like. Would not boot fresh out of the box for about 30 minutes. Trackpad is not centered over space bar, so inadvertent clicking is common. Number pad is oddly shaped and font on keyboard in general looks weird. Not the greatest drivers support on the ASUS website. On the other hand, laptop runs fast and the battery lasts extremely long.

This computer is going to be just what she needs. It is fast, light, and has plenty of memory.

The experience with 4K is excellent. The cooler is very quiet. I recommend this computer.

So far the purchase is great. I am a MAC enthusiast but wanted to see what IOS users are benefiting. Years ago I would buy a computer and two years later have to replace. To quick to become obsolete and software did not consider the hardware. Shame given these are costly. Hope my high end laptop stays recent at least for 5 years. My MAC is 10 years older and runs great on their platform.

the laptop is for my daughter for school, she likes the Asus-15.6" 4k Ultra laptop.

This is our (mine and my wife's) fifth ASUS Laptop - and for good reason. We have not been able to find what we believe gives us more bang for our buck; these are exceptional machines in every regard. They are high-performing; lightweight; small-dimensioned; reliable; with excellent graphics; backlit keyboard and touch screen. We could not be happier.

For my money, ASUS is making the best laptops out there. This one is a gem. The only problem I have with it is THAT THE KEYBOARD IS TOO SENSITIVE, AND OFTEN PUTS YOU BACK IN PREVIOUS PORTIONS OF YOUR TEXT/EMAIL, OR CONVERTS TO CAPS (as just happened here).

I was looking for gamer grade laptop with performance and dedicated GPU at a great price and this ASUS laptop fit the bill. Good quality and not full of software bloat like a lot of other brands pack into your laptop.

The screen is has the most vivid colors of any computer I have ever used. It starts up very quickly and it uses my facial recognition to log me into the computer. It has a very large hard drive 1 TB and 16 GB of memory. It is a real work horse and was quickly and easily set up with the files and programs from my previous computer. It is a winner!
