Set up was easy. My kids use this laptop to do school work. We don’t ever use for entertainment or gaming so I can’t give a review for that. But for what we use it for the price was perfect for this laptop.

Dear Nikkie, Do understand your disappointment if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop.
This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process.
Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance.
If the above-mentioned steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. I bought this computer in November 2019, the computer that best buy sends me, in three months the mouse will be damaged, the battery will discharge in less than two hours, I send my computer for repair on June 17 and they give me back on July 21, where he says that Geek squad is the company where they send the items to be fixed, AS I HAVE NO PAYMENT, THEY SENT DIRECTLY TO ASUS IN CASE. after a month of waiting my computer comes to my hands with a letter saying that the touch pad functions within normal parameter. battery charges and holds charge with test adapters. When I open my computer the computer starts downloading fast. I already call a geek squad to find out what they did to my computer. I speak to a man named MARCOS and they tell me that indeed they sent the computer to Asus and that the only thing they can do for me is that I have to communicate directly with asus and NOT WITH BEST BUY WHICH WAS WHERE I BUY MY COMPUTER. THAT I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT I HAVE TO COMMUNICATE ASUS I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT DIRECTLY TO BUY MY COMPUTER FROM ASUS. They have the worst service in the world. THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN VERNDER BUT WHEN THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THE PRODUCT IT IS NO LONGER THEM PROBLEM.
