    I would highly recommend this laptop for a student or basic user. I do have some recommendations before installing programs: 1. Let the computer update to the latest Windows 10 update. 2. Choose to "Reset this PC" (system settings, update & security, recovery). Use the option to keep your files. I have had to do this on a number of computers that have run slow after the latest Win10 update. This will fix this slow problem. 3. Install the free VLC media player to play DVD movies. Don't use the Microsoft store version. Get it from their website (desktop version). PROS: Great screen for those of us (over 50). 10-key built in. Good keyboard and touchpad action. CONS: A little slower than most laptops, but quite acceptable AFTER using the procedure mentioned above. Remove the OEM added utilities that you won't use (ASUS did add a few). Paid $199.99... Got the last one of two in the store.

    I don't know if it is a Windows problem or the computer's problem but I cant seem to get this system going. It is very slow, doesn't want to go to anything but Microsoft sites and feels very flimsy.
