my first one crapped out in one week and had to be replaced. I hope this one lasts longer. I am not sure about the quality.

I had to get something to replace my aging 2005 Dell. Back on Cyber Monday, they had what is now the $329 Asus on sale at this price. This one is a newer model than that one, Although it has the cheaper Celeron processor, it seems to be working well so far. It's fast enough for what I need to do. If it holds up half as long as my old Dell, i'll be happy.

It is not worth the money, I purchased two, the first one went to a blank blue screen after the first week of use.

2-1, with cd drive, how awesome! NOT. Super heavy, over priced and the battery dies pretty quick.

Super slow. I only use it to surf websites, do my banking, etc. So dissappointed. Its barely usable.

better skip this model and try something else. going to take back to best buy when I have a day off.

My son bought this. Take it home and space bar stops working and the letters keys started to also

This laptop did not have a very long life to it. Had to take it in for repair a few times.

Bought this based on comments from in store staff. Extremely slow, and returned within a week.

This is a very capable machine at the price. It has 4Gb system memory and a 500gb mass storage hard drive. Although the system memory is a little light this machine runs its supplied Windows 10 like a champ, is very easy to set up for Wi-Fi, and will readily accommodate the computational needs of most mortal users with its Intel Celeron processor. Most mortals don't have big pockets for laptop machines three times the price of this one but neither do they require multi-core processor architectures for real time gaming, engineering level image analysis, or even finite element structural analysis., They do photograph touch-ups, typical printers, web access, email, in addition to other plebian computational practices. This machine in comparison to other cheap laptops has a real and genuine spinning hard drive. Sure, the high priests of digital technology can praise and encourage the use of puny flash drive based cheap computers and extoll the speed advantage of mere 32 or 64 Gb mass storage but the horrible truth has that Windows 10 will suck up about 20gB and leave a puny and useless remainder for applications and data. Compare this with the remaining unused 480gB of a rotational drive like this machine has. Not to mention its included optical read-only drive which is just perfect for disk-based application distribution media installation. The dirty secret is that to jack up the performance of this machine (in terms of seconds processing speed# merely increase the system memory from 4gb to 8gb or 16gb #whatever it can handle). But as a mere mortal an average user can see if the computational speed of this machine suffices for their real needs. Get 'em While They're Hot

I AM NO SO HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE, THAT WAS NO THE ITEM THAT I CHOSED.

I purchased this laptop to replace my grandmothers old HP. She loves to be on the internet. (Facebook, Email, Bill Pay, Ect) The laptop is rather cheaply made, BUT would be a great starter for a high school student or older person. Windows 10 is great! We haven't had any problems with it running slow like in the other reviews. I normally don't leave reviews, but I felt like people needed to know that the reviews of this laptop were not accurate. I would buy this for myself or another family member again.

Even though some review says that this laptop is slow and wack. I just recently brought this from best buy store and It's not slow or wack I love asus computers . I'm a first year college student and it's fast and great. The keyboard works just fine . I have no complaints about this laptop. Its good for the price. I recommend that you go in stores to buy this computer or any laptop.

I bought 4 of these laptops on Black Friday for a small Real Estate office I was opening. So far so good! The fact that it comes with a CD drive and free Webroot virus protection was a plus. I'm not a super techy person, but this laptop has been working just fine in regards to my Realty work. I wanted to keep my start up costs down so I purchased this laptop versus a full desktop and I have no complaints.

We purchased this laptop for my husband who was looking for something that would allow him to store important documents. He was pleased to find this one would far exceeded the purpose. Easy for him to learn how to use and great for easy accessibility and storage. Great for onlone games too.

I bought this Asus laptop last year to use at home and at the office. I use it to Skype since it has a decent camera and speaker system. It came with Windows 8 which I immediately upgraded to 8.1 and in December 2015 I upgraded to Windows 10 with no problems. I use it at home to plug in to my HD tv since the laptop is HDMI enabled. So I can see videos in full screen with my Bose speakers (also from Best Buy). As others have said, it is not slow for anything I have used it for. It is selling now for a better price than I got (279.00). No problems with it at all.

This was a starter laptop for my kids, 9 and 11. A bit slow online at times, but that was expected. Does everything i need it to do, battery stays charged for hours and picture is great.
