I was told by a friend to read the reviews before i bought a new laptop. I was very pleased with the things i read. checked the specs. liked the color & build. went straight to B. B. & bought the laptop. I don' know how people can say it is slow,It is faster than my new desktop (DELL) 3 days later i could have saved $50.00. Feel like asking for a $50.00 gift card.

I needed a laptop for school, nothing fancy so I was between this laptop and an HP with a quadcore processor. I decided to try and save some money and went with this one, I thought its specs looked good enough for browsing the web and writing papers. Well it was not. I had this asus about four hours before I realized it just was not going to work. It was very SLOW, took it almost an hour to install office, and forget browsing the web, it constantly crashed and kept flickering to a black screen . Just save yourself the hassle and get another computer.

I really like my new Asus - 15.6 Laptop - Intel Celeron - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Chocolate Black. The size and price were just right.

So far I have enjoyed this product. Works very well for what I need it for with no problems. Best desicion I made and for a great price!

Picked this up for my mom after her computer died, it is a great starter/basic computer and works wonderfully for her, she is very happy with it.

I bought on sale 3days ago for 200$. Slower then other pcs with same processor. I'm returning it.

I was told when I was looking at this one that the keyboard was backlit, IT IS NOT. Also the mouse is hard to work every once in a while and sounds like a piece of tin when you push it. If possible spend a little more and get something better than Asus.

It's a great laptop. I use it for school and streaming movies. Have not had any issues with it so far.

This laptop is really sleep and has great performance for the price.

INCREDIBLY slow. Repeatedly locked up for 5 minutes at a time. It wouldn't allow me to turn it off or open the task manager or anything else. This was an almost completely unusable machine. I returned it in two days. I'm very happy with the HP I exchanged out for.

1. The App Store isn't working 2. The mouse is slow

I am surprised with the quality and simplicity of this item Great performance for email and doc editing ie office suite. Performs great simple tasks

Ok laptop, a little slow when opening multiple windows

My 15 year old loves it. He can do everything needed on this computer.

Works well for taking notes with patients and for Skyping with family and saving all my pictures.
