DON'T BUY ASUS LAPTOPS

Bought one less than a year ago and the right hinge unglued or separated from the plastic frame and when closing the lid the plastic frame broke and you can see the hinge pushing the metal back (Turns out I'm not the only one with this problem, there are hundreds of well documented cases about hinge issues with ASUS laptops). Sent it back for repair and guess what? They DONT send you a box with label to send for repair even when the computer is still UNDER WARRANTY! So had to pay $94 for shipping to see IF they will fix it. Its been 3 days and so far they are trying to say that there is physical damage. Well obviously there is physical damage. The hinge BROKE the plastic frame that holds it. You been warned!

Avoid at all costs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an older Dell laptop that was about five years old so I decided to upgrade and bought this one. It was a huge mistake. This computer is terrible, very low speaker volume, no factory dvd player, touch sometimes doesn't work, and the computer constantly has problems. Some of the things it does is freeze, unable to perform basic functions, isn't capable of running basic programs, or after you close even when it's plugged in, it'll shutoff completely and loose progress on what you're working on. If I hadn't wasted money on this I would prefer to use my old Dell that is five years old.
