Pros: Excellent laptop computer. The screen is 15.6" but appears to be a 17" screen. Very comfortable keyboard with number keys down the right side as well as across the top. Screen view is great. Plenty of Storage. RAM is easily upgradable. Cons: No User's Guide comes with the computer, but you can download a 130-page User Guide from the web for free by searching for "ASUS X555LA-HI31103J User Guide".

The computer isn't bad. It does its job. And it worth the money. My only thing is the touchpad can get annoying and click right when you clearly click left. Which is caused because the touch pad is all in one styled

I absolutely love this laptop! We originally bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas. We both loved it so much, that we now have purchased 3 of these, so that we all have one! You can't beat getting this great of a laptop for the small price! I'm very pleased with my purchase!!! Highly recommended! :)

I found that the cpu set up easy. The 1T hard drive is plenty of room. The processer is fast enough for my needs. I would love it to have an additional USB port or 2 but I knew what I was getting when I ordered it.

Fast enough for Windows 10, Office apps, lots of storage, all at a bargain price.

I've had this laptop almost a month now and use it daily for work. I'm not terribly excited about it so it isn't an "Oh wow!", but it does what I need it to do. I do a lot of online research so I'm surfing webpages all day. It is a little sluggish -- not bad, but noticeable -- and other reviewers have mentioned that it needs more RAM. I have a RAM stick on my Amazon Wishlist, so I'll be upgrading that soon. I haven't had any problems with the laptop yet, and I am happy with my purchase.

Got this on sale and for the price, this is an awesome laptop. I purchased this mainly to download foreign movies/shows and burn them to DVD's for my mother. It does exactly what I need it to do and more without any problems. The screen/display looks very good, the processor and hard drive are more than sufficient. The memory could be a little higher, but you have ability to add more.

This laptop is thin, light, and more than powerful enough for most student's needs. The only problem is that it didn't come with any discs so I'll have to figure out how to get the drivers and Windows operating system in the event that I need to re-install things.

I NEEDED ANOTHER LAPTOP THAT WAS NOT EXPENSIVE YET RELIABLE AND THIS ONE WAS IT. I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT JUST NEEDS A BASIC GOOD LAPTOP NOTHING FANCY.

For the money spent, it's a very good laptop. If I could afford more, I certainly would've preferred some other features, like a better processor or more RAM, but considering what I paid, it's a good laptop.

New to the Asus family...I was a bit hesitant before purchasing so I read review after review and did my own research. This laptop is more than I expected from it's lightweight design to the ease of use.

Purchased on Thanksgiving for $299, later dropped to $269 on Cyber Monday but couldn't use Price Match during this time frame. Eventually, caught the price drop to $249 before Christmas and got a $50 credit using Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee (no hassles and credited back to my credit card). Customer Service with Best Buy is very good. Very good budget laptop and a great value at $249. Purchased for my son to use for college. Looks great, has expanded keyboard (numeric), plenty of speed and memory for basic needs, and good value rated processor. Initial start up was quick and connected to my Wi-Fi without problems. Overall, very pleased with this laptop and the value received from Best Buy.

I love my computer, but we had the geek squad install our office and they installed it with a sign on and a password that they did not give me. I did not know my old password at the time. So now I can not use the office. I stopped in talked to agent Jared who had checked us in at Fargo, he said there was nothing he could do for me. He was not helpful at all. So now I spent 129.99 for something I can not use yet? I received this right after Christmas. He said they could send someone to our house, but that is 100 miles from Fargo. We have always had a good experience with the geek squad had them for a few years. Please help me. I need the office for my volunteer projects at our hospital.
