I wanted an easy to use personal computer that did not have a touch screen user application. This Asus machine was not difficult to install and had great cues and directions to complete the process. I like how fast the computer operates and the simplicity of it's features.

Great value, only $30 more to add 8gb memory to bring to 12go total. Changing to 500gb ssd for another 150 makes this a great deal!

We didn't expect to buy a new computer as I thought the conflict in my computer could be resolved. But I learned that I could get a new one for just a few dollars more, we decided to look and see. The salesperson was very helpful and let us look in the price range we could afford. And then when we couldn't decide between 2 or 3, he told us the various good points of each. I knew my daughter had been advised that Asus was a good brand and the salesperson confirmed that so that was what we got. Very satisfied with it.

Asus makes a nice and reliable laptop. And it's affordable.

I bought this while it was on sale. I upgraded the RAM to 12GB and replaced the hard drive with a 480GB solid state drive. Very snappy after upgrade and takes about 10 seconds to boot up. Great for everyday web browsing, watching videos, and even light gaming (with upgrade) Only con is the wireless connectivity. It has no Bluetooth and the internal WiFi adapter only has one antenna connected to it. It only supports b/g/n on 2.4ghz-band. Fastest connection speed I've seen is 72.2Mbps on Wireless-N.

As a mid-size notebook, this meets the needs quite well. The only difficulty is the touchpad with the integrated buttons. It is difficult to use and the result has been a cheap optical mouse. Other aspects of this notebook make it worth the mouse difficulties.

Hard to beat for the price. It's fast, has good storage, built in camera, and decent RAM. Nice big screen too. If you just need a laptop for web, email, Office, and watching movies/streaming Netflix - this is a good deal. Perfect for office work too.

I had to get a new laptop and did research for 2 months, after reading so many reviews. I decided this was a good buy.. The startup to a minute, to input all information and then from there it was great. I got it gor school so, i hope it will do what i need. Lots of great things on here.. usually take a week or so, to navigate a new item.. But, so far so good. I know this is a vague review but seeing o onky had it for 7 hrs it would be.. I ll right a new review after i really use it

Does everything I need it to do. Cheap enough for the performance you get. Can't expect much more without spending alot

I purchase many computers for our company. I try to stick to ASUS due to their reliability the past couple of years. This particular laptop has been quite reliable for our uses. Well worth the money spent.

This Asus laptop is used primarily for my all online classes in college. I also browse the web, do some research, and use my email account. My classes are compatible with this version of Windows (10), and schools tech support helps me with any issues I may have. I am not computer savvy at all and I'm doing good so far! I love Asus computers in general and this one specifically. I have also had great support from the Best Buy staff and Geek Squad.

This is a nice computer for the minimal investment required. It has most of the current features you would want on computer for basic home or small home office use. The new windows 10 that comes on it proves somewhat of a challenge to navigate, as it did when I chose to update my previous computer with it. The computer it's self operates a little slower than I had hoped, but I believe it is a good value for what I paid.

This is a great laptop for personal use and office. It replaced a very old laptop, so I am constantly amazed by its speed and intuitive software. The battery holds a charge for longer than was described unless you are streaming video.

Bought this laptop when my old one failed and I was looking for a relatively inexpensive temporary replacement. I wanted at least an I3, and the price for this model was better than a lot of less powerful machines. It's not as sturdy as my I5 Ultrabook, but it has everything I needed as is almost as fast, so I'm extremely happy.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loves the weight...very light for her to carry around the house, even with a DVD/CD burner. Plenty of storage.

I bought for my sister on her birthday and she so happy with it. Fast and very good for her study online and play game.

Great features includes 2 of 3.0 ports are compatible with devices that are built for use of 2.0 port, (at 2.0 speed). ONE TB hard drive is split in 2 uneven parts, so I put my large Video library in the bigger one; instead of Video folder. When I opened this PC, I found out that total available space for use of my hard drive is 902 GB!! Every feature listed in the specs just works fine. I recommend that a new buyer does a "recovery disk" as soon as possible, because afterward it might be too late. Great feature of this PC is the musical and audio sound of the speakers!! Company calls it "Sonic Master". My previous PC brands came nowhere near this brand speaker sound. Windows 10 is Microsoft's best OS.

Great Laptop and the price was right. Works awesome for my needs and keeps up with me.
