Just like the title said this is the best laptop for the value of money that you are spending. Does everything my wife needs for school and also to play her Sims game.

From the time that I opened the box to set up this lap top I have been very pleased. The first thing that I noticed was the pictures were vibrant, with the colors leaping out of the screen. The speed is just what I wanted along with the storage.....Great Lap Top!!!

This ASUS was purchased in lieu of an external hard drive- I thought I was looking at an open box model and was astounded to discover that it was a new laptop! I bought it on the spot and have enjoyed it ever since. It is fast, a good screen size, and comes with 1T hard drive. I use it with a USB mouse and use it more than I even planned to. For just over $200, it was a terrific buy and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive but reliable computer.

great starter laptop with a low price and not too heavy

I have owned several laptops before, and this one stands above the others in performance and clarity, bit to mention the great price I was able to buy it for.

Bought this laptop for $269.99 to replace my 4 year old Asus laptop. It's good for internet and office apps, which is all I need it for. It could use more RAM (only came with 4GB) but works fine. I can upgrade on my own later. Some other review suggests this model can't be upgraded, but I assume the person didn't know how to do it.

Great purchase for my daughter. The only downfall is the DVD player is not pre set to view. You have to download a player to make it work. Also the combination microphone/headphone jack must be programmed for use. Other than that it was a good buy for the price.

I bought this for my daughter. She is 14 and she loves it. It has more than enough room to store games, movies, documents ect. Very fast and responsive.

Bought this laptop after looking at several others. This one seems to have all the options that I was looking for. I usually go for HP computers, but have always wanted to try an ASUS. Bought it for my daughter, who does alot of drawing on a Bamboo Tablet. She hooked this up, and loved it! Great laptop for the price!

My previous laptop went kaput and I needed a new laptop on the spot. I did no research other than walking into Best Buy. The sales associate was knowledgeable and very helpful in helping to select a laptop that was right for my needs. Basic: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email and Internet. He did upsell me, but said I'd like my Asus better than the other ones I was looking at because he said this machine ran a bit faster for what I needed. Having an Asus Netbook also helped in my decision, as I bought it almost 10 years ago and it still works in a pinch!

This laptop was on sale for Black Friday and seemed like a good buy especially for the price but the laptop is good can't complain much about it.

I bought this laptop for my son to play online games. So far I have not had any problems with it. My 1 complaint is the scroll on the mouse. You have to use 2 fingers to scroll. Something minor, but you do have to remember and get used to it.
