This is my first laptop after years of using a desktop PC. I have found the new ASUS laptop to be pretty easy to learn to use, and I am a tech idiot. It is nice to be able to go in to the store and get help when things don't go so well.

It is a nice laptop for the money. It has a cd\dvd drive included. The laptop isn't the fastest processor out there but it is fast enough for our use. It has wireless for connecting to the internet. I would recommend this laptop.

I bought this for my mother who uses it to send and receive email, to get on the internet (searching and making online purchases) and basic document creation. It is fast and has everything she needs to do these limited tasks.

I bought this laptop just to use for off work web surfing and some on the side word processing and it is great. The price is right and so is the computer

I had a Toshiba Intel Core i3 also. It ran very well but not this one. I bought it for my sister. She said it took too long to launch and to close. Otherwise, it is ok to run Microsoft Office like excel and word.

We bought this for our Granddaughter for Christmas and it is perfect for her. She loves it! She is 13 and set it up all by herself no problems.

very nice laptop. sale price was incredible. Its plenty fast for my needs. is mainly back up for my all in one desk top. only reason not a 5 star is its made with alittle to much plastic look. still very solid.

I wanted a basic Laptop for my 10 year old for school work and of course some games (Simple games, not graphic intense games). This ASUS laptop was very inexpensive and performed perfectly out of the box. The wireless network interface connected immediately by itself with it just asking the Router password. I needed to load Microsoft office 2013 on it, which was no problem. Now he can do his homework, connect to the internet to get class assignments, but unfortunately he spends more time playing games. GREAT intro Laptop for the price.

this is a great laptop. starts out very fast and is very good. The asus Computer runs very well and I recommend to all my friends and family

It's cheap. That's why I got it. I needed a PC computer for work that day and this is what I chose. Out of the box it is slow. Unacceptably slow for a new computer. My 5 year old Mac book pro still runs circles around it. It was between getting this or getting Parallels, and a windows OS for the MBP and I think I chose wrong. Popups, sluggish loading, hanging on applications - all the reasons I left PC in the first place and this serves as a reminder why I went Mac. This is essentially a disposable piece of hardware in my opinion. But then again: ITS CHEAP!

Haven't had any problems at all with this computer. It's everything I need and more,the salesman help me make a excellent choice

My wifey uses it and it has better results. She normally is a heavy browser with too many windows opened up, but still this laptop goes good..will have an update in a while after heavy usage

Computer works fine for my minimal requirements but runs a little slower than my4 year old HP. Not really computer savy so may have mis-understood the salesman about operating system speed.

Very happy with it. Only issue I have is the touch pad...its too big. While typing my palm keeps hitting it so the cursor sometimes moves. You also have to get used to the 2 finger scroll.

Lightweight, easy to maneuver. Like the number pad on the right. Works really well.

Great computer for my home use needs (internet, email and MS Office). The computer has great speed and ample storage space.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A CHEAP LAPTOP WITH I3 AND FOUND THIS ONE ON LINE AT BEST BUY AND THE SHIPPING WAS FREE. SO FAR SO GOOD.

I bought this for at before Thanksgiving when it was on sale. Screen is decent size, and of good quality, but low resolution for laptops in this price range. It took a while to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, but it's the time well worth spending. I replaced internal hard drive with SSD, which makes this run blazing fast. However, this laptop is not easy to upgrade. Even replacing hard drive requires taking off keyboard. Upgrading RAM to 8GB is possible, but is more involved.

Great deal and great price. No fancy bells and whistles which usally are not needed to do the job. Recommend this one!

Was a little difficult at first to use but it has gotten easy to use as I have played on it more.
