I understand you have issue with the product and I want to help you fix it. If the laptop is running slow can you please do a system restore to revert to last known good configuration then install all windows recommended updates before using the system. For the battery please do a battery calibration manually by draining the battery completely without the AC adapter connected then charge it fully without the system being used or power on.
