Purchased this computer as a gift for my son. It has worked really well for what he uses it for-email, web surfing,etc. Great price!

It is exactly what I needed. Pay bills, email, contact all over the world, read news from overseas, etc. A gem for the price.

Great product at great price. I've had no issue with it so far. The only part I am not too happy with is the feel of the keyboard as the keys feel a little rough and clunky. May be I'm more used to the Logitech or HP keyboards which give you much more smoother feel when you are typing. Other than that, I'm completely happy with the purchase. I purchased it just get something light and do mostly, email, internet browsing, and some remote access for my work. It serves me perfectly.

I picked this up as an early bird black friday special, so it was only $259. GREAT bang for the buck at that price! Good size hard drive, efficient processor, large screen, nice keyboard footprint. My only negative is the minimal battery life, but other than that, I'm very happy with this laptop at that price!

Bought as a gift . Replaced another entry level computer, They have been very pleased with the performance. Improvements from the older computer are a better intel processor, more memory, and a higher. capacity hard drive . I purchased online and picked up at the store . Transaction was quick and complete without any glitches.

got this as a general famIly use laptop. Works just fine. Windows 8 takes a little getting used to.

My daughter uses the computer on a daily basis for games and You-Tubing. There have been absolutely no problems. It would get a five star rating if it had Windows 7 instead of the horrible Windows 8. When an eleven year old would rather have Windows 7 than Windows 8, something is wrong. All in all, the computer functions flawlessly as promised.

It may not be the top of the line, but for the money, it does the job and does it well.

I like the new i3 Asus lap top. Works well and for the price I paid it is an excellent buy

windows 8 is terrible, no way to turn off the built in mouse pad other than that it's good

Upgrading to a SSD was beyond frustrating (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars). ASUS customer service weren't any help. I eventually got it to work after I cloned the original hard drive to the SSD and then swapped them out. Now it boots up insanely fast (from off to windows log in screen in ~2-3 seconds). I wish it had another USB port, but I knew there was only 2 when I bought it (one 3.0 and one 2.0).

So far so good. This is my second laptop, the first being a 2005 Gateway with XP OS. As XP is no longer supported, it was only a short time before I would be forced to upgrade. My wife had been after me for some time to upgrade and suggested I go shopping on the Web. I saw this laptop on sale and quickly realized that it would serve my limited needs well. I hope that it will be last as long as my first.

after two laptops died, I had to find something quick. Fortunately for me it was just around Thanksgiving and all the wonderful sales. :) This laptop was on sale for a ridiculously small amount and I purchased. I am not sorry at all. Great bargain and very pleased with performance. I am a light user, social media, email, some youtube and browsing. Easily hooked up to the TV and extra monitor. Meets and exceeds all needs. The only challenge I have had is when it tries to auto update Windows 8.1 Cosmic failure every time so I am sticking (stuck) at Windows 8.0. Not my favorite operating system but not the worst so not a big deal for me. I would recommend.
