Nice notebook computer and great price. Windows 8 easier to use than expected.

I was looking for portability more than power, so this computer fit the bill for a very good price. I would have preferred the option of expanding the memory, but couldn't see spending $100 for that when I think this will meet the basic needs of college papers and group projects.

my sister wanted a simple laptop to replace her broken one. just web browsing and word. This had nice specs for $250 black friday sale. Upgraded to windows 8.1 right away. Did not previously have any windows 8 computers before and the new os seems ok, but the tiles screen and windows app store is maybe more thrilling on a tablet/touch screen device. Works pretty smoothly so far with light use. The keyboard and mouse/track pad (where the right and left 'buttons' are not raised and do not click) is a little clunky to use. The laptop is pretty light and easy to carry, especially for not being a "small" screen at 15+ inches. so far it seems like a solid buy for the casual user/moderate use. I don't know if I have a good reason not to give it 5 stars, other than this laptop again seems solid but not particularly exciting but at the cheap price that makes sense.

Good price for beginner computer, However, the time for delivery is too long.

nice laptop at a good price and east to set up this was a replacement for a HP with almost the same configuration this one was much easier to get up and running price was right got it on sale and used my reward points to get it for like $225.

It is hard to find a laptop at this price with an Intel I-3 processor...

Plastic and looks cheap but overall performance is great for a student.

Its the most affordable laptop utilizing an i3 processor. There are other brands out there with similar specs for around the same price range, but I will always go for Asus over all others.

This computer is replacing an Acer with AMD processor and just 12" screen, so now I have a Core i3 with 15.6" screen, is a huge upgrade, although battery life is quite short compared with my old one, overall is a nice laptop for surfing the web and watch shows.

Nice product for the price...basic travel computer

The computer is super easy to use and set up. We watch a lot of you tube videos and it never once froze up or buffered. A great computer for a great price. Second one and inwill continue to buy this brand.

Easy to set up right out of the box! I bought for my son for Xmas. Second asus computer in 2 years. Kids love windows 8. Best buy let me know when antivirus was ending on first one and was able to add second computer at renewal.

For the price this was a great deal. Touchscreen would be nice. But for 250.00 you can't beat the specs. There is a bit of a learning curve with windows 8.1. But not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.
