Easy to start and set up. Synched easily with other wireless devise in my household. No problems so far after about a month of use.

I bought this laptop for my brother during Thanksgiving and he loved it. It is great for home purpose and has everything we need. Good thing is we also get free 6 month antivirus software with it from Geek Squad of Best Buy which is great. :)

I bought this mainly for educational use and general internet use and wanted a low budget windows laptop. While keeping price in mind, this laptop works well for my needs. It has sufficent speed and storage space. It feels abit cheaply built but should be fine if taken good care of. Out of the box it did need some time to setup the laptop for me, it came with software i didnt want and after uninstalling the bloatware it ran much better. About a gig of updates for windows was required...so keep these things in mind. Overall I give it an average rating...

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my teenage son and after two days of installing updates to get it up to Windows 8.1 with all patches the touch pad stopped working completely. I've bought a lot of laptops for myself and family members over the years I've never had one that experienced a hardware failure so quickly and with so little use. Overall, it has very cheap build quality that I would not have expected from Asus. I've bought a number of Asus motherboards and video cards over the years but I'll be staying away from their laptops from now on.

This was a laptop purchase for my 82 year old mother who needed to give up using her Windows XP tower. It has worked very well for her uses which include genealogy, email, web surfing. The only issue is there is no real way to make your own back up disks unless you contact Asus.

The computer was found on BradsDeals. I drove an hour to a store that had it in stock and I am glad I did. I prefer to buy all my major electronic purchases from Best Buy due to the warranty and knowledgeable sales staff. They helped me compare 3 other computers side by side and assured me this brand was as good as the major name brands. I can trust Best Buy and I love how quick my new laptop is. I am beyond pleased with the features and ease to set up.

it is a great computer for the price. It doesn't have LED light indicators on caps lock, num lock and and other keys that usually have light indicators. It is obviously not a gaming computer but it runs applications effectively. I love its design, it's slim and light

Not a fancy laptop but it does the job for the price. Fast boot up time along with the right amount of memory, processor and hard drive space makes this an ideal laptop for someone who just wants to surf the web, manage pictures, check email, etc. Some drawbacks include a very hollow and loud mouse pad, no light indicating when the caps lock is activated, no way to easily replace the battery as well as being on the heavy side. It appears you have to remove the underside of the laptop in order to replace the battery based on some YouTube videos. All in all, a great entry level laptop at a cheap price.

I brought this laptop for my Cousin Sister for her Highschool.She loves it. Great laptop with all needed feature.Price was also reasonable.

For the price its a great purchase for a starting computer for my kids to use. Easy for my kids to use and has enough memory and hdmi for streaming and chrome use on their tv.

I've been looking for a new laptop for a LONG time. Just did not want to pay for yet another laptop. Finally found this one with i3 processor and on sale for $250. Best deal. Only negative so far is that it does not have bluetooth (no-one told me that when I bought it) but can use a wireless mouse. Need to get a USB hub for the loss of the 1 port due to the mouse but other than that, no complaints so far....

This ASUS laptop is great for people who just need something simple and fast. I have no complaints for this laptop specifically, just not the biggest fan of Windows 8.

I bought this computer last minute for work and so far I have not had any major problems with it. Its processing speed is a little slow but expected with this product's specifications. Overall happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

I purchased this Asus X551CA laptop during a Pre-Black Friday sale. It was priced low and the specifications were more than enough for every day use. After I got it home, I set it up and updated it from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. I was very impressed with the way it preformed. It is quite, fast, and the screen looks great. This laptop would work well for school, travel or home use. It's definitely a winner!

This computer is absolutely wonderful the speed of the Intel Core i3 is much much more then the speed I ever expected. From the moment I opened the well made and packaged box I fell in love with the computer the moment I turned it on. Literally blinding speed well made, easy to operate if you enjoy just turning on your computer and watching it update. Once it's done just try to keep up with it.

Bought the laptop on sale at a good price. The initial setup was a pain. Claimed it comes with Windows 8.1 but it doesn't. Had to install 100+ updates just to be able to install Windows 8.1 from the Microsoft store. A few freeze ups, 2 system restores, and about 6 hours later the computer was finally up to date and ready to go. Most of my problems were due to junk Windows 8 and not the machine itself. Was an early Christmas present for my parents. They love it and is perfect for what they use it for. Can't beat it for the price.

This laptop computer works very well. It's a very good deal since it's i3 CPU with a surprise low price. It's light and convenient to use.

Since I'm on a budget it works out fine - but I really dislike the keyboard. You have to press pretty hard on the pad and alot of times I have to double click on it. It is pretty slow - the sales man said it would be much faster than my previous one but it really isn't. The good points are that its lighweight and doesn't get hot. That I like.
