This was such a great deal for a laptop with a disk drive, it has everything I need and I can connect it straight to my tv to stream anything I want. It's 6 months later and it still performs flawlessly. I'm not a huge fan of windows 8 but I'm used to it now and browsing the net and streaming from online services such as netflix or hulu is a breeze.

I got this on black friday for a very nice deal. I really love this laptop as it comes with quite ok processor, and is good for regular use. Though body looks a bit cheap, but for the price i would say its an excellent product.

This computer is an excellent quality and very user friendly. I'm not a computer savvy person and I had no trouble setting it up. The price was very reasonable for the quality you get. I would highly recommend this laptop for casual use. You might need an i5 or i7 processor if your using advanced applications.

The price is not bad. Has the CD ROM with is nice. Takes sometime getting use to the new windows. Wish it had a few standard programs. But not bad to use to do online schooling.

It was the first time to try ASUA laptops but they turned to be very durable. I would recommend this laptop.

Recently purchased this laptop and have found it to be a good value. I needed a second laptop to keep at work so that I didn't have to bring my apple laptop with me everyday. I purchased this on sale so it was under $300 and I am very happy with what the product has to offer for the price. It is relatively good processing speed, the display is large and clear, and it performs the operations/applications I need it for well. I gave it three stars because the design is a bit clunky (esp. trackpad and clicker) and because I am not a big fan of the windows operating system. However, if you are in the market for a solid laptop to perform the basics, this is a good deal.

This laptop was purchased by myself and three other family and friends. Out of the four laptops, two did not work on arrival. Although this is a small sample size and it's possible we just were unlucky, it's also possible they have a very high failure rate. The two laptops that did work both work great, and best buy returned the other two quickly and with little hassle.

Does great for what I'm using it for and makes job easy.

great product for individual n family with great value

I needed a new laptop for the IT work that I do at my job checking internet connections, etc. This did the trick. I had to install Windows 8.1 as it only had 8 on it to begin with (let the PC do updates and reboot several times before the update). It isn't the fastest machine, but it serves the purpose I needed it for.

Easy to set up and plenty of speed compared to the last laptop I puchased. First time using windows 8, was able to navigate pretty easy with in about 5 to 10 minutes. Started downloading pictures and videos with ease. All in all this is one of the better laptops I've purchased in awhile.

It is not easy to use. The side panel keeps coming up in the middle of operations and so does the date at the bottom. The computer itself is light and easily portable but the 8.1 is much harder to use than the 7 orXP.

The kids got this as a gift. Good computer. Still working on figuring sone things it offers.

I am satisfied with my purchase, so far it works great.
