A year ago I purchased an Asus laptop to replace my hopelessly out of date Toshiba. I loved it so much we began pinching pennies so I could get the same for my 3 children. We needed them for both school and because we game together. And to my surprise, when I logged into BestBuy.com they had an even BETTER model on sale for less than my original. We bought 3. The setup was easy. Logging into websites for our existing periphrial hardware, such as our network printer, to obtain drivers occurred automatically and without a hitch. And the computers scream compared to our older models. All four of us play minecraft and Space Engineers together now, we couldn't before. There's nothing like chasing each other in jetpacks with mining drills as weapons for family bonding! And with free shipping that arrived WAY faster than the original predicted date and the bonus points it was a purchase that was tough on our budget but well worth it

I've been using this laptop for one month already. And, I am pretty satisfied with this product. But, the battery life is shorter than others I guess. And, graphic is just soso. But, everything is great so far. I love it so much. Touch screen works so well.

Nice laptop with a metal chassis and relatively fast. It's a good deal for the money and as a computer consultant I would recommend this to clients. In fact, I purchased it for a client and they are very happy with it.

I bought this computer for the high specs. I got a great deal for the specs on this computer. Very intuitive setup. Everything works great right out of the box.

This seems to be a nice computer, wish it had one more HDMI port and not a big fan of some if the indicator lights, like cap light, down load, but all in all a good machine. Has good sound and is easy to use.

This is a good computer, it has both a quad core processor and a dedicated graphics card. This computer is an entertainment laptop more then a gaming computer. For that i give it 4 stars, on the other side you can game with it as long as its details are lowered to mid/high on most games at 1080p. the speakers on this thing though are amazing because of the quad speakers ASUS talks so highly about as long as you use the sub woofer included.

We purchased this computer for our grand daughter going off to college. It is just the right size and just the right weight. Plus, it has a DVD drive so she can watch her videos... hopefully when she is done studying!

I do a lot of photo and video editing and need a laptop that can handle running programs that require lots of power at full speed and without crashing. I had a high level Samsung and switched to Asus and find it to be of a noticable higher quality overall. The graphics and quality of the screen images is excellent. I am very happy with this computer and would highly recommend it.

Impressive power and speed. Good price for 1TB, 8gb, Nvid graphic, i7, touch screen, DVD/CD, back lit keyboard all aluminum frame. Win 8 stinks but I love it.

Performance of everything is good, but the Nvidia GTX850M graphics blow everything I have ever owned away. .Asus engineering on this is perfect .I highly recommend this even for gamers.

This is a great computer at a reasonable price, all you have to do is look at the specs to see the quality. Not to mention the display is phenomenal.

I'm not tech savvy nor do I play games. I had transferred my vhs tapes to DVD on my previous computer and was told if I had more memory the transfer would have gone better. Lots of stuff I miss about Windows Vista especially the calendar.

Amazing laptop. I love it. Very very fast. The 2GB video card makes video editing much better than before. Gorgeous screen and very very responsive touchscreen, does not attract many fingerprints whatsoever, at least not in my case. I am a fan of the keyboard too, it is very comfortable to type on. The upgrades that I made was adding another 8GB RAM, so now I have 16GB of RAM. Also, I replaced the hdd with a solid state as my primary drive for software and such and the DVD drive with a HDD cady with 1TB hdd for all my videos, pictures and music. overall very satisfied with the laptop so far. I like that it gives you a chance to upgrade the laptop to an extent, but it works excellent just as it is. I have had it for 2 weeks now and no regrets. (I bought it used from Amazon Warehouse, I can't even notice the "imperfection" noted in the description) Hope that helps!

The laptop arrived in one piece and unscathed but broken with a faulty hardrive. Would not recommend to someone who likes a reliable computer.

I've had it 1 day, but it works wonderfully! This is the 2nd ASUS laptop I've purchased. Since I've only had it one day, I don't have much else to say yet, but I like what I've seen so far.

its a great laptop and all but it really isn't for gaming, mostly for video editing and things like that. It runs games but it gets rather warm and you have to lower the game specs for it to run well enough. Dead Light runs well, but there's a slight lag that I can't really describe but it somehow doesn't bother me when I'm actually playing and I play with a friend online. I thought it would be better than my old laptop at running games but I forgot that the 1920x1080 resolution would require more power from the GPU than the 1366x768 resolution I came from. Overall great laptop for multimedia though!
