I have purchased ASUS laptops for years and use one as my daily home computer. My nephew graduated high school and I wanted to get him a laptop for college. After spending months - literally - reviewing all the available options, I chose the ASUS Q302LA-BHI3T11 because it had all the right options and characteristics I wanted for him. It is lightweight, fast (it has the latest gen Intel Core i-3 processor), good amount of storage, 2-in-1 (he is used to using a touchscreen from gaming), Windows 10 (which I have now used for months and love it!), and it's a 13.3 inch screen which isn't too big to haul around campus. He loves it and everyone is happy. I highly recommend it!

I like it because the touchscreen is soft to use and work so good. Also,the mouse combined with the touchscreen work excellent.

I've been very pleased with this computer. With the addition of a solid state drive, the speed is phenomenal. No issues other than the back lighting of the keyboard doesn't work. I think it is because of the new hard drive. Even with that I'm still pleased with the performance I get.

Is very user friendly. I am learning new things about it every time I use it. Would definitely recommend this product.

Awesome and light weight. Easy to use and bring around. Small enough to carry around easily. Big enough to see everything you need to. Only issue is sometimes when turned on it thinks it's flipped to tablet mode and the screen is adjusted so. Got this laptop and had to exchange for another because first didn't charge completely. Stopped at around 80% every time. switched it out and everything is perfect now

Bought this for my 11 year old tech savvy niece who wanted a 13 inch touchscreen. She chose the ASUS over and over again, but all the 13 inch touchscreens with 4 to 5 star reviews were quite expensive. This was not rated when I bought it. It was a new model with a bit less memory but several hundred dollars less expensive than the next choice. She loves it! It came with free security software, and I purchased the accidental drop insurance at her mother's recommendation. I also own an ASUS much larger laptop which I purchased from Best Buy in 2010. I love it, it has been very reliable. Every now and then a quirck pops up which the Best Buy Geek Squad has been able to fix over the internet. I was a bit nervous about this, because they take control of your computer, but we operate this way at work, and I have had no problem with this service at home.

Nice laptop good battery life. Asus makes it easy to set up. Touch screen is a nice feature (still getting use to it). Battery seems to last at least 4 hours. Good speed. Solid computer for what I need at a reasonable price.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter. She will be attending college next year and needed a decent laptop. She is thrilled with it. She likes Windows 10 and has no problems with the unit. She likes the touch screen too. She was having a problem with connection to WiFi, but that turned out to be a bad Xfinity router. I replaced theirs with an Archer C7 unit and everyone is happy.

I was looking for a decent laptop to support my distance learning grad school classes. This one has delivered on my expectations. My husband was impressed with the I3 processor and memory capacity. I enjoy size and low weight. It's much like a Macbook in that regard. It has a super quick boot up. I use typical functions (Microsoft Office, Internet, Streaming, Facebook, Blackboard) with no issues. I haven't used it in the "tent" configuration yet as I'm a bit old school with my computers. Lol. I don't game so I can't comment on its performance in that regard. If you're looking for a lightweight laptop that's easy to travel with for typical computer functions, this is a great option.

Lots of PROs: Great size and quite light; long battery life, responsive touchscreen, sturdy/strong yet easily flexible hinge for tablet mode, nice feel of keys and smooth touchpad, OPEN-BOX in excellent (blemish- & defect-free) condition, speedy core i3/6GB ram combo is perfect. Few (personal) CONs: Didn't like the rectangular edges as much as other sleeker models, not a fan of grey keys contrast to black background, the switch from laptop to tablet mode (and screen rotating) was kind of wonky (not fluid). Didn't keep it (only for personal cons) but can't deny it's a very good machine and would def. recommend it.

I have not used a computer in years, have only had an iPad. Received my laptop as a gift from my husband with the suggestion from our daughter who has this laptop. Seems pretty easy once you remember how an actual computer is used. Nice to spark my memory on how things work.

I love this laptop! It has a very nice portable design. The flip hinge is a bonus, as it converts easily to tablet use. The touch screen is amazing and very clear. The speed is incredible and I am able to run multiple applications at the same time without slowing down the speed.

We took the salesperson's recommendation on this one, and are glad that we did. This computer offered a lot of speed, memory, and features for a very good price. It was a Christmas gift for our 12 year-old son and he loved it!

This laptop works great for my school assignments. It's lightweight and portable to take with me to work and school. Easy to use. Love that it's a tough screen!

This laptop is pretty nice for the price! It is fast, easy to use and works as advertised. The various modes (laptop, pad, tent, presentation) all function well and the screen is sharp. Easily loaded Office 365 and WebRoot -- they both works very well on this laptop. Overall, absolutely no issues whatsoever so far. Definitely a strong contender at this price-point. Recommend.

The Asus 13" notebook with i3 processor and 6 GB ram is a nice little machine. It fits the bill for light use. It's a little slow, so the i5 processor might help. But for the price it is an excellent value.

I love Asus and this laptop does not disappoint. I bought out of desperate need for work and thus didn't have any time to research laptops before going to purchase. This was my first choice for the price range but ended up with a Toshiba at first due to this one being out of stock. The Toshiba had screen problems and luckily when I brought it back they had this one! The touch screen is nice even if it's not my cup of tea. It's very sturdy given the size and weight still making it portable. Honestly my only complaint is that there is not a CD/DVD drive but unfortunately all laptops in this price range do not include that anymore. Nice number of ports and spaced out well, love the keyboard. Pretty happy overall.

I am very satisfied with this Asus laptop. I am just a casual user. I had not heard of Asus before making this purchase but so far it has done everything that I need it to. I am used to an Ipad so I love the touch screen. The smaller size suits me and is easy to transport for travel. Not one issue so far.

My middle-schooled daughter and her friend both have this laptop. She uses if for all of the school papers, watches movies, plays games. Just what she needs and she loves the touch screen and flip top!
