This laptop did not disappoint. I was looking for a computer with a large display, built in number keypad and powerful enough to compute large data sets. The 4K screen will amaze your eyes and speed will make working enjoyable. The computer is also light in weight allowing for easily working on the go.

The only problems I have had so far with this laptop are: 1) the mouse pad becomes momentarily unresponsive randomly for about 30 seconds or so. 2) It has trouble sleeping and waking and not freezing. But I disabled the sleep ability and that is no longer a problem. I love the size of the screen. I love that the c: drive is an SSD drive, the computer is very quick to start up and very responsive when it comes to programs, etc... I love the 2 TB HDD drive. Generally I don't use the HDD drive much and when I do, it's plenty fast for what I need it to do. This was a great way to get lots of hard drive space with an I7 processor, GEFORCE GTX 950m and 16 Gigs of RAM. Runs very well and I am glad I purchased it. My previous laptop was a Lenovo purchased directly from Lenovo and I still have that laptop, but it is getting old and becoming somewhat unreliable. So far I am happy with ASUS and this is my first ASUS computer.

This laptop has all the bells and whistles and more. Love the outside finishing. Love the resolution. Love the touchscreen even though I hardly use it. Has lots of storage and comes with both ssd hard drive as well as regular hard drive. Overall it's great for doing my work.

I love Asus computers as they are reliable and have the features I like. It boots quickly and runs fast. The USB ports are fast. This particular computer does not have a CD drive or a RJ45 outlet, both of which I use. I bought an external drive which is small, works well but is a little noisy which does not seem to be a big deal. I also bought an adapter for a hardwired internet connection as I use that routinely at my desk. This adapter also has 3 additional USB ports. The screen is great, the keyboard is great and I really do like having the SSI drive along with the 2 T drive (which I use mostly for data or programs that I do not use on a daily basis). Office 2017 runs nicely on this computer, as does Quicken for which I have lots of data. I put the Quicken program on the SSI drive and the data on the 2T drive as recommended by Intuit. I installed Office 2017 on the SSI also.

After much back and forth trying to decide which laptop fulfilled my requirements and met my budget I opted for the Asus Q534. Bought this laptop as an open box and after finally getting the correct charger and eliminating the internet glitches I love my laptop........so far. The laptop while looking fairly common has 16 g RAM, 2G HD and 512 SSD - for me just what i need and wanted. Display is great but speakers, while good, would have benefited from the little sub woofer that was missing from my open box. I generally use headphones when watching things though so not a huge deal. Am just about to dump a massive pile of photos and small videos onto HD so will see how that works out. So far I am more than pleased with this laptop and hoping that it continues to make me happy....if not then guess will write a new review and remove whatever stars it doesn't deserve

I upgraded to this laptop from my old ASUS G73SW. Overall the Q534UX is another quality product from ASUS. When you did a little deeper under the hood you will find out that the memory and SSD are Micron products. The SSD is a Micron 1100 M.2 NAND Flash SSD 512GB 2.5" 7mm, M.2 2280 single-sided Micron 384Gb 32-layer 3D TLC With a Marvell 88SS1074 Controller. Micron has higher standards than their retail line of products (Crucial). The Crucial model of this SSD is the Crucial MX300 500GB M.2 Type 2280 (Single Sided) Internal SSD CT525MX300SSD4. ASUS did a great job choosing the components that went into this computer. KUDOS to ASUS! By the way. Go to the Micron site and download the "Micron Storage Executive" to unlock more features of this SSD. You can enable disk caching and overprovisioning with this software as well as update the SSD bios in the future.

I was already in the market to purchase this computer. The specs on this computer for the price cant be beat. The storage alone is ridiculous 512 ssd and a 2tb hdd where could i find that much storage on a laptop for under $1000. The sweet part for me is i was able to find an open box for $659. YES $659. When i saw one available i ran to the store it was only 20 minutes away. Then 16 GB of ram, a Core i7, and 4k display all for $659. This was truly the deal of the century. Only downside was missing the sub woofer but who cares can easily buy one from eBay or get a bluetooth speaker. By the way the laptop was immaculate for an open box. I thought for sure it would be banged up or something for that price. So far no issues what so ever. The display and performance are great. i bought it for school cant wait to put it to the real test.

So far this laptop has performed wonderfully. Nice that it has both hard drives (HDD and SSD). Haven't used the touch screen too much, but it works well. Resolution is 4K; looks great on this size monitor. ASUS manufactures a wonderful product!

The 4K display makes this Asus enjoyable to look at. The Zoom feature of Windows 10 adjusts the size of the content to my preference. There are some windows that infrequently pop up that do have extremely small font. There are other ways to adjust for this. I think the cntl + works for some of these. The OS is on the SSD drive so it runs quick and quite. The extra 2 TB hard drive provides plenty storage for data. The track pad works well compared to other Window based laptops that I have used. The touch screen provides the ability to operate the Windows 10 interface from the keyboard and trackpad or by just touching the screen. I liked that more than I thought I would. I like the 10 key numerical input. The cost more that most Windows based laptops but with an open box discount I think it was a good value. I am pleased with this Asus.

I've had this laptop for about 2 weeks now and I love it! I looked at a lot of 2-in-1 laptops to find this one, to include the Lenovo IdeaPad, HP Spectre x360, the Acer Aspire, and a couple others and tediously compared specifications. As far as the outside of the computer is concerned it's a fantastic looking piece of machinery. the screen is just a tad bit reflective at times but that is easily overlooked. The keyboard feels great, as well as having the number pad is extremely convenient. The backlighting on the keyboard doesn't look cheap and the mousepad is not oversensitive. It has a decent amount of USB ports and other useful ports. The 4K display is fantastically clear especially when doing a little light gaming. That being said, the graphics card is great. I can run a couple of games on ultra high graphics with 1920 x 1080p and it handles fine. It starts to get slow when you do high graphics with UHD resolution, so just FYI. The start up is quick and I haven't found a whole lot of bloatware yet like I read in a couple of other different reviews. Some cons now...This this is also a fingerprint magnet! I am constantly wiping down after using it so that is a drawback. The only thing that really bothers me about this laptop is that when folding the screen up to use it as a tablet it doesn't entirely disable the mousepad and keyboard. I don't know if it is the tablet mode sensor or what but it has been a pain at some times and that is the only reason why I haven't given this 5 stars. But for the price, I got it on sale for $1099, it's usually $1399 and it works great for the price. Like I said the only quorum I have is with the tablet mode switchover.

Love this cpu so far. I think of all the laptops in the store this one had the best processor, storage, screen resolution and memory. Happy so far. Only one dislike is the 0 on the number pad. Wish it was bigger like that of HP.

I needed something portable to edit photos while on the road, but didn't want to spend a huge amount. The first laptop(different brand) I bought was ok the first time I used it, but it had multiple failures that caused me to lose income. The one I bought to replace it was an Asus that seemed would work from reviews I read. It had a matte finish screen that was supposed work well, but it was awful! I could not get the color or contrast even close to being useable. Back to the store, I found this one. It was quite a bit more money, but the difference in speed was incredible-the SSD boots up far quicker than anything I've used in the past, the screen resolution and color/contrast are fantastic. The ability to use it like a tablet is great when just playing around. I couldn't be happier.

I researched alot of different laptops and this one caught my eye. I have really enjoyed this laptop. The keyboard has a dimmable light. Which I used in the car at night and it didn't affect the driver. Its super fast and quiet. It works great in tablet mode which makes it fun to play some games. I would definitely buy this laptop again

cludes a 15.6-inch 3840 x 2160 touch display, 16GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M graphics card with 2GB of VRAM, a 512GB SSD and a 2TB, 5400-RPM HDD, plus a camera that supports Windows Hello facial recognition. That's all in a machine just 0.86 inches thick and approximately 5 pounds. Asus is touting Bang & Olufsen's ICEpower audio, and suggests that the 2TB HDD will serve as a repository for users' sizable gaming and media collections. We haven't found the 950M to play the latest intensive games, but we'll how capable this GPU is when we get our hands on the system. The biggest question I have is how long its 52Wh, 4-cell battery lasts on a charge. I get maybe 2 hours..

Machine has been working well so far. Very fast! Disappointed that there was no DVD drive so I bought a cheap external drive that workds well to load or play CDs and DVDs. Also, does not have an eithernet port so I need to buy a USB to eithernet external converter. They cost about $25. Mousepad is a bit touchy and takes some getting used to. My first ASUS machine, as I was an old Gateway customer. Debated on buying an Apple laptop, but was twice the price and no internal hard drive. This bad boy has an i7chip, 512GB SSD and a 2 TD hard drive! Windows 10 OS has been relatively easy to use (I had XP) and is somewhat intuitive...and I'm no computer geek either. I'm pretty satisfied over all with the in store price and performance.

This laptop is amazing. What's inside the power, the storage, the graphics, the software... for the price your getting a lot of bang for your buck. BUT if your looking for a computer that is compatible with windows ink. This is not the one. It is advertised on the website but I had gone to Bestbuy myself to see if one of the wacom bamboo smart Pens will work and we had managers and geek squad try to get it to work and they couldn't figure it out. They ended saying that it's not compatable. I had returned the product because it didn't have a key feature I wanted but if you don't mind that feature this is right for you.
