I reviewed and researched many different ASUS computers since my experience with ASUS laptops has been very satisfying. The combination of a solid state drive and traditional hard drive provides my FAST startup and response and plenty of storage space. The quality of the screen resolution, 10-key keyboard, and thin design make this the great replacement for the last ASUS I had. It was busted after it managed to 'take a trip' across the floor in accidental drop from my lap. The added miniature 'sub-woofer' tht can be plugged in adds a great sound for videos, if you choose to use it. The LAN connection via a USB dongle keeps me from accidentally breaking the LAN port like on a thin laptop. If there was minor irritation, it is fairly easy to accidentally change the zoom on browser pages, but it can be fixed by being cautious in dragging your thumbs across the touch pad. It is very well worth your consideration.

I am happy with this purchase for I got it as an open box item, but in brand new condition, for a smashing deal. I would do it again in a heart beat especially with typically good quality products like Asus. I love the 4k screen which is extremely sharp even though it affects battery life but that is a low concern for me. Worked without any glitches so far except for experiencing a black screen once even though power was on. It was easy to just reset it through pressing power button continuously for a 10 seconds. LOVE IT.

After purchasing an HP and a Dell with similar specs... they were really not what I had expected. Slow... poor sound... camera issues... anyway. I set out to do some research BEFORE buying another laptop. This one has all you need and it performs well. Editing GoPro videos is easy. Editing photos doesn't bog the machine down. I'm happy with it. The drawbacks are: no DVD-ROM, No Ethernet and a weird subwoofer that takes up space and is in the way. The good points. Let me name just a few. The storage is ample. The RAM is peppy. The screen on 4K is really nice. The touch screen is responsive. I haven't gamed on it. But I'm assuming it would do well if your internet was fast on Wi-Fi. All in all I'm happy.

But, battery life is abysmal. 5 stars otherwise. This is a high quality product from asus with great looks and extreme power. Excellent for high powered applications, 500gb SSD + 2 TB HDD with 16 gb sdram and dedicated graphics 2 gb and 6th gen i7... We love it, but I still like my 2013 MacBook Pro retina, boot time in 3 seconds, asus takes ~15 seconds (Windows sure to blame). Would nevertheless recommend highly.

I recommend you buy this laptop, which can be used as design graphics rendering and games. Its performance is strong, high configuration, appearance is very fashionable, but very light in weight. The most important of all, he is much cheaper than the same type of products!

This is my 1st laptop in years . I have always been desktop user . I custom create my own computer with the best component in side . But I said it time for a new upgrade . I wanted something portable fast and easy to use lap top . I would deathly recommend this computer . I love the 4K display . It really makes a big difference a resolution . It runs all my game smoothly . Also I love the The solid-state drive restart and three seconds . So having the 2 TB is amazing . 10 out of 10 . Go get it now :)

I needed a laptop that would handle my workload, and I knew that I was going to have to shell out some money this time. My basic HP Pavilion just didn't do the job. This laptop rocks! It handles all I have to do and then some. I use and extra LCD screen due to all the windows I have to have open at one time. This laptop is a trooper. For the money, it is the best laptop I have owned. I sometimes forget that it is also a touch screen unit, and I will jack everything up if I accidently touch the screen when cleaning it or something, but that's my bad. Great product.

I bought this laptop on sale for my daughter for college. This laptop was a great deal for the price because it had many features found on much costlier laptops. The screen resolution, processor and solid state boot drive make this a great buy.

The ASUS was recommended by the Best Buy associate. It's lived up to his assessment. The solid state storage gets you off to a quick start. The I7 processor is fast and the graphics are great. All around, a solid performance.

I had problems with the speakers the first time; they didn't even work, so after downloading a few programs, I had to uninstall those programs, return it to factory settings and exchange it. If you can, check to make sure all the aspects work while you're at best but before you leave. It's a good computer and super fast when it works. I can't run a certain program on this machine for some reason, it's a graphics program that you'd think would work with all the amazing speed of this computer but geek squad couldn't even figure out why the program wasn't running properly as it does on older computers. Hopefully the problem is the software so I can continue to have faith in this computer.

Fast,great screen,easy to use but you have to be creative because it doesn't bring instructions(I later learned none do nowadays:long live the nerds!!!)Good sound;battery average life.

The laptop is actually a good laptop. Loads quickly and has ample storage and speed. The sound is a bit lacking, and the speaker helps (a lot actually). The 2.5 mm plug (female) insulation has chipped, however, and will need to be repaired. That's my only complaint. The screen is brilliant! The change to brass from plastic for the hinges is absolutely great! This should allow them to last for a long time.

Runs lightroom and photoshop like my big desktop!! Handles thousands of raw images on a photo trip without a problem, yet light enough to carry on a plane.

I love this computer. I honestly can't tell you about anything under the hood which is not mentioned in the product details. This computer is built by ASUS to be sold by Best Buy so it is not listed on their website. The computer is beautiful, responsive. It has a hard drive as well as a SSD. Lots of ram and FAST! Great computer for a great price - a good value.

Good price on a well rounded laptop for use with graphics programs. Looks cool and relatively light weight.

I am a MAC user that must have a PC for work. I researched all models on the market, and concluded that the ASUS had the features I wanted: 4K screen, 2 TB hard drive to save data, and a 512 GB SSD for systems. The only drawback is that the keyboard is offset from the screen due to the builtin numerical pad. Probably good for accountants, but awkward for me. Trying to get used to it.

I was having problems with my Mac and went into BestBuy and started looking and a new Mac book pro was going to cost considerably more than what I wanted to put in a new laptop. This one was highly recommended by the person assisting me. Being a mac person for the past 5 years I was skeptical but I have had this one over a month now and absolutely love it. Every who sees it and ask for the specs can't believe it especially when I tell them the price. Extremely user friendly for the ones such as myself who are older and not as computer literate.

This laptop met all of my expectations and than some. It's powerful enough to run multiple programs and has even been used for some gaming. The 4k screen looks amazing, but I've had some sizing issues where programs open up in very small windows. You'll have to play around with the display settings a lot to keep this from happening. Overall still a good buy.
