I'm not going to lie...the color is what drew me in. The audio/sound was next, and then the crisp visuals. Specs are amazing as well and a little more than I need, but can't complain. The only things that keep me from rating 5 stars is that it comes with waaayyy too much bloatware/ the giftbox, and the fact I cant seem to get my soundcard to work with hdmi to play sound on my 3d hd tv that is a few yrs old...had to use the speaker (which is fantastic). Overall I would definitely recommend.

I use this computer for photography and it is simply amazing! It can handle dual-tasking high graphic and CPU use programs (like photoshop and lightroom) with ease. It boots up faster than any computer I've ever had. Having two different disk drives is extremely useful because I can use the Ssd drive for temporary storage while I'm working and use the Hdd for my finished and original photos. If you're looking for a powerhouse, this is the computer to get.

Everything about this laptop is pretty good. The solid state hard drive allows fast boot and software response. The large onboard data drive is more than adequate. Display is also great. I'm used to other Asus laptops that offer a better location and "feel" relative to the power switch. It's hard to turn on and it's minuscule. Lousy design. It never occurred to me that I should be concerned.

This is a really nice machine. I love the facial recognition. It works great once you go through the improvement a few times. Touch screen is more helpful than I thought it would be. The only caveat is that the high res screen causes problems viewing some of the older applications. I found a helpful Quicken fix, but some install dialog boxes have very tiny print. But, the machine itself is great!!! Instant startup -just like Mac.

Very pleased with this laptop. The only problem was the number 7 stuck on the keypad so I returned to store for repair. They couldn't repair and had none in stock, could only replace by them ordering online and costing me an additional $200-250. I declined, wasn't going to pay extra just because they had none in store. I chose another ASUS but was upset at losing this one. It did everything you could want and was so fast!

I purchased this computer to replace a 5 year old laptop that was showing its' age. This computer in terms of specs beat the competition hands down. The processor (I7), the SSD (512 GB), and the hard drive (2 TB) were exactly what I was looking for. The computer takes around 10 seconds to boot from a cold start. It is faster than that when it shuts down. The screen (UHD) is fine on a 15 inch screen, but being a senior, I miss my old 17 inch screen on the old laptop. I also wanted a laptop with plenty of connections available. This ASUS has 4 USB connections, but one of them is the latest version of USB and I have nothing that connects with that so far. The computer is great, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This screen display is awesome. Is so clear. The boot up time is amazing, no long waiting for files before it uploads. I have great storage and the perks that Asus give are great too. Love the ability to use it as a table to take note ot give a presentation. The only thing I don't like is that there is no Ethernet port or CD player, but these are both external options that can be purchased for a cheap price.

This is a great product and overall performance of the lop top is excellent. The keyboard is a comfortable desing and the back lit feature is nice. We did have some issues loading the printer and trying to remove the Microsft password which we have still not been able to do. The input we have received does not match up to the menus we see on this laptop. Overall this is still a very good buy.

Good computer for school and fun. Very fast, especially with the SSD. Only complaints are that some dust and fingerprints stick to the screen, and I need to wipe them off every so often. Much heavier than a Macbook Air, but much more powerful as well. Also one of my keys is bent, not sure if I did that or if I didnt notice when I purchased. Will contact ASUS for a replacement. Purchased at $1,100 with deal + student discount

Nice gaming PC that can perform multiple functions - school-use laptop, gaming, tablet mode use. Being used by Senior in high school where device goes with him throughout the school day and is used for variety of classes, including engineering, AP Physics and AP Java. A bit expensive for a laptop, but the fact that is is multi-functional and high performance outweighs the cost factor for us.

This laptop is a pretty good computer. I'm not in love with the color, but it runs fast and has a lot of storage. One con is having to hold the function key while using the volume buttons. Too many steps to take. I bought this laptop because Asus makes computer parts and it was recommended as a very strong and durable laptop.

Solid build for a laptop, the SSD/HD combo Is amazing. The addition of a speaker helps a lot with the lack luster sound from the laptop itself. Only complaint is the need to find a DPI fix for the 4K resolution down to 1080p since literally everything is too tiny to see on this screen with it's native resolution. Hopefully something that can be fixed with time.

Bought this Computer for our son who is a freshman in College - needed to be able to run Engineering CAD programs - this computer was well worth the money and did everything he needed it to do.

To get a comparable 4k laptop with 2 TB HD and 512 G Solid state drive and 16 gigs RAM you will spend more than the $1400.00 it cost at Best Buy. Interesting enough, it does not have a network adapter plug. You can buy an network adapter that uses a USB port.
