The only problem was WiFi overload. Not due to the computer itself, but a household of five (5) people with 5 Kindles, 3 computers and 3 smart phones adding another laptop required a MUCH better router! So if you have any problems with this laptop, first check your bandwidth, and maybe upgrade to a much better router.

Looked for months for a computer that had all the features I needed for my e-commerce business. After the third computer return, I finally found what I was looking for my budget, great looking and great performance computer.

Great notebook so far for doing .NET development; fast boot up, plenty of power to run SQL Server instances during development; biggest negative i have is the touchpad is kind of unresponsive or skippy at times and the web cam does not always startup at boot (which i think is more of an issue with Win 10).

I'm a Dell buyer normally, so stepping out of the Dell family made me a bit nervous; first time with Asus, and so far its living up to its standards as sold. VERY, VERY fast!!

This is a great machine for the serious user. Not cheap but reasonably priced given the configuration. Super hi-res causes some issues with applications that can't scale out but those are few and far between. I miss the on board DVD but that's just old-school me.

An excellent laptop that works well except for one issue. The computer randomly freezes for short periods of time (30-45 seconds) and then starts to function normally again. Microsoft says this is an issue with the hardware and Windows 10, but doesn't offer any solution at this time.

This is my third laptop in 4 years. Why? Because I can't find one that truly works. My most recent laptop, an HP Envy360 was purchased in January 2015. The performance was terrible and it got to the point where it would not shutdown without powering off using the on/off button. I said enough-is-enough and started looking a new machine. I wanted something that would go the long haul and this machine is the ticket. 16mg Memory, 2TB of physical hard drive space and a 512 SSD; not to mention the 4K touchscreen. I've had it since Thursday and I could not be happier. It worked like a charm out of the box, very few updates and downloads; little bloatware-unlike HP. This is a serious machine for those who are truly techies, those of us on the fringe who know the difference in what works and what is lacking (HP machines) and those who are not technically savvy and need a machine that runs great right out of the box. This is the first machine in years that I can honestly recommend. Asus has hit the mark on this. Price...very fair. If you look at the difference for a well specked out machine and this; the value is here and if you by chance you are a student (even pursuing a master's or beyond) you can take advantage of the coupon savings and then this is a deal beyond belief. I ordered this online before it was available in the store and it surprisingly came in the next day. One thing I have learned, a machine that is going to be trouble free is one that comes that way out of the box and this one did!

Great laptop I only wish that I knew it was a dual core i7 6500. I though I was purchasing an i7 quad core. That's what I wanted plus the video card is still a decent video card being a 950 2g gamer but It is a lower end version that will run fine playing older game but also will heat up making it be a heater pad on your lap... So knowing this now... what I really want is this exact set up but with the 6700 i7 and a higher end video card of 3g or 4,6,8 the 965 970 or 980. Or 1060 1080 etc but in getting that I'm not going to be paying the 750 800 price tag it goin probably cost me double and not be an open box sale so it's still up on the air if I'm goin to return this and look into buying another laptop with the higher specs but don't get me wrong this laptop Is still a beast of and computer that most definitely would meet all your needs.

I shopped lap tops for a while before getting this one. I like to do a bit of gaming and photo editing but didn't want to spend over 2k for a computer. This one keeps up nicely. SSD means quick start ups and the backlight keyboard is really nice.

This laptop has a lot of storage , but the battery is not enough strong . i Have to charge the battery a lot. So, it does not worth it to pay more than $1000.

This laptop seems to be a good value. Includes 2TB drive + 500GB SSD, touchscreen and 16GB RAM. Puzzling side note... It seems that since it uses the wireless N scheme, it kept crashing my home router. Replaced the router with an N router, and solved problem.

Purchased this unit in order to do some post processing for video editing and photography. The video handling for 4K is smooth and although the screen is large the unit itself is pretty light and mobile. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this machine based on its specs. I had it for a total of 3 weeks, and I used it daily. I was trying to replace my surface book after it was stolen. I liked the option of a HHD drive for storage of files, and the SSD for fast boot up for programs. I primarily used this for school, work and 4K video editing. It would freeze randomly, and I ready to remove all the junk that is included, but even after removing the bundled ware, it was not as top notch as I was expecting. It is a good product if it is just for school and even work depending on what you are doing. The product felt cheap, but was really heavy.
