I'm pretty positive that this model has been discontinued, and remade under a new model number, but I bought this laptop in 2016, and it's still working very well in 2020. I might be looking into upgrading the RAM if possible, since I use it for streaming, any extra RAM is encouraged. It's a little slow on video and 3D rendering, so take that into account if that's what you want to use it for. Graphics are great, able to run games on high graphics without crashing the system. Definitely have enjoyed this laptop for the past 4 years. HOWEVER, My one think that irks me about this laptop is the placement of the power button. It is on the side on the laptop, on the bottom left. I can't tell you how many times I've hit the dang button when I'm just trying to pick it up.

I planned initially to purchase a desktop computer. But when I saw that the ASUS laptop could be folded back and the screen inverted, I purchased a separate wireless keyboard and mouse to convert the laptop into a really nice desktop machine as well. So, now my ASUS serves a dual purpose at home and on the road. Moreover, the machine is fast and the screen is crisp. I strongly recommend it for both configurations.

Smooth, easy and nice looking unit. Fast speed with my plan. Keyboard is comfortable, some key symbols are hard to see. Touch screen and tablet features are great! Speakers are quite tinny. I've reset the time/date several times and had remote Geeks work on it , but still is not dependable for that. Case smudges easily. Windows 10 has some nice features that are trying to be user friendly. My use is just personal: email, web browsing, bill paying, photos and the like. It's a large capacity unit - probably great for business use!

The most important piece of information about this machine is that it will need extensive updating. While trying to load programs the machine would crash. After doing all the system updates it continued to have problems and crash. I tested each individual driver for an update and found several that had to be updated manually. After updates were complete all programs worked as they should. Nice screen, I like the touch screen. Keyboard works great. I don't use the touchpad I use a wireless mouse. Good for light gaming and office work. More than capable to run all Netflix and social media sites.

Nice laptop. Great amount of storage for my needs. It keeps giving me a pop up about my graphics. This started right out of the box. I love that I can flip the screen around and have a tablet rather than a laptop.

A good attempt by Acer to make a powerful laptop. Pros: fast i7 chip, nvidia graphics, bright hd screen, touch screen Cons: Fingerprint magnet, heavy, buggy graphics, unnecessary dvd drive This laptop feels heavy and the black aluminum body shows every single fingerprint. The next annoying issue is trying to use the nvidia graphics card as the main gpu. Apparently, the computer uses on board graphics and switches to the more powerful Nvidia gpu when you need it. It was powerful enough to play games such as Diablo and Starcraft. Also, why put a heavy dvd drive in this laptop when its unnecessary? If Acer can change it to a silver body, slim it down and fix the graphics bug, it would earn my 5 stars.

The computer was more than I had expected and much more than I needed. I am still learning about the various features it has. My son-in-law is a computer freak and he fell in love with it. It is a little large but that is because I wanted it to include a number pad.I absolutely love and recommend this computer.

It runs fast and has lots of options. It can be used in tablet mode or as a normal laptop. My only problem is that it keeps changing the date.

I am on my 3rd of this laptop now. It hasn't glitched as badly as the previous 2. The first one would freeze and I would have to restart it to get it to work (worked sometimes) and I returned it within the first week. The second would also freeze, but also this one's image would be streaked or wrong and the words would have letters missing and pictures would have parts gone. I exchanged it after just after a week. The one I ended up with occasionally freezes, but just for a few seconds. I put up with it because it is such a nice computer and has everything I wanted, big screen, large memory, cd, number keys on side. The one thing I don't like is that the on/ off button is on the side and when I move the laptop on my lap, I sometimes hit the button and turn it off. If you can get one that doesn't glitch, it's pretty good.

Great price, fantastic features. I've traveled with this several times already. It's light, but powerful and I'm very pleased that I picked this. This is the second ASUS laptop. The one this computer replaced is still going strong too!

For the money this computer was easy to use. Having the touch screen was a nice added bonus and the 2 terabyte hard drive should ensure that I have enough room to store all my photos. This was an excellent value for the price.

the computer is working very well. It has a lot of features to start with. It is vary fast and reliable. I don't like windows 10. It will not synk. and a few software problems but not because of the computer. Mine has a DVD player and it also has back lighting for the keyboard.

This notebook is very fast which was my main goal in buying it. I also wanted the backlit keyboard. Unfortunately, the backlit keyboard doesn't work except on power on. At the direction of ASUS I installed updated chipsets to no avail. Also, I can't disable the touch panel when I use a mouse The rep suggested I take it back but I am traveling and won't return until after the 30 day return guarantee. I will talk to the store when I return. Great computer if all features worked. An internet search reveals this is a well known problem although the ASUS rep had never heard of the problem.

As a big fan of the Asus brand, I read the reviews of this laptop online and headed out to Best Buy. This laptop is everything you would expect it to be. With plenty of RAM, a 2TB hard drive, and the latest Core i7 processor, it's great for work and home use.

I needed a computer that could handle the graphics requirements for my 2020 design program. So far I have been using it for about a month with no problems whatsoever. I am very happy with this product. Also very happy with the customer service we received at Best Buy, our salesman was very knowledgeable and patient.

I am impressed by the 2 terra drive, i'll never have to worry about running out of space. This unit is quick and easy to navigate. I like windows 10, at first before I bought, I was worried if w-10 was gonna be user friendly and it is. really love it.

This is a great laptop. Touch screen and easy to switch to "tablet mode". It is a bit heavy for a tablet but it is convenient to use in this mode while relaxing in bed. The regular price is good and the sale was great. Can't match the value anywhere.

Bought this for my wife and she pretty much loves it. came equipped really well for what she needs, plenty of power and memory and easy to use. Windows 10 is a nice upgrade and all in all she loves the whole thing. With that said, I lowered my rating due to the video issues common with this apparently. (at least that is what Geek squad told me). It has on board intel graphics AND an nvidia graphics card/adapter. This is great except for the fact that they compete with each other and start generating errors in certain applications. I have literally had it pop up about 20 errors in a row (1 error every 2 secs or so) which is very annoying. Everything seems to keep working but still annoying. Other than that it is a very nice 2 in 1 laptop/tablet combo and the wife is very happy.

This laptop was an open box/clearance item. I'm happy with it so far and it helps that I didn't pay full price for it. It is fast and has great specs but I use it just for basic things
