Good laptop if bought on sale

The display is good, but not sharp enough to render high quality video. The processor is good for home edition, but if you plan to install professional OS and software, consider upgrading to SSD, since 16GB is the max RAM support. The design is sleek. Wifi connects to 5hz frequency. The mouse pad and number keypad are bit unusual but you will get used to pretty quick

great for portability vs power

I have a desktop replacement laptop that is simply enormous and to big to be carried around practically. I have been looking for 20 years at this kind of machine but they either have low power capability or super high price . the only difference between this machine and my big lappy is 16gb or ram. this machine will allow me to get away from my desk and spend more time with the family.

Great laptop with all the bells and whistles

The only drawback was I wanted a SSD hard drive but with the great price I decided to just get the spinning disk hard drive. Love the numeric keyboard arrangement. Solidly built and I like the ASUS brand. My desktop has an ASUS motherboard and it has worked great for a number of years. The screen here is very good and a bonus with it being a touchscreen. I also wanted a 2 in 1 laptop/tablet although I usually do not use it in tablet mode.
