This laptop is amazing the screen is good, The battery is ok, performance is amazing, this is the best computer that i tested!!!!

Bought this as a remote computer to log into work and run auto-cad type programs. Chose this model because of the dedicated graphics and full size keyboard which backlights very nicely. The tablet functions could be better but I think that is Windows 10, not the PC.

I bought this laptop for streaming, photo editing, word processing, and web surfing. I figured the tablet function would be a bonus, and it is. I have had no issues so far. It boots up quickly and there is no lag when opening multiple windows or programs. It does everything I need it to do and should stay "relevant" for many years to come. I am not an online gamer and I have yet to download windows 10 so I can't comment on how it will handle either of those.

I bought this laptop for myself just for browsing and movies. 2 in 1 and touch is awesome. Working great.

This new PC is very fast and acts as my tablet as well. Still getting used to it but totally enjoying the i7.

This 2 in 1 is well constructed. Some feel like flimsy plastic but not this laptop. Runs slower than I expected with so much memory. It is heavy, I believe the weight of 5.1 pounds is incorrect. My old dell was 5 pounds and this feels much heavier. I am guessing it is closer to 6 pounds. It has a nice screen. Screen seems to function well in all positions. Backlit keyboard is bright. Will probably upgrade to SSD drive at some point.

I bought this laptop to replace old Fujitsu that served me for 12 years. I wanted to have fast processor, dedicated video and an optical drive. After searching a net and reading lots of professional reviews, I decided to buy this model. I've been a huge fan of Asus for many years. Well designed, with many features(still learning them) and apps. WIFI with ac speeds, very lite and a touch screen allow to use it as a tablet with 15'' screen.

I wanted this laptop to replace my 8 year old Asus computer for general day-to-day computer use and photo editing. This is our 4th Asus computer in our family and have found them to be very reliable and long-lasting. I like the touch screen on this model, as well as the ease of carrying it around. It is much lighter than the larger one I was used to.

I updated my computer because I wanted a device that could do everything that my tablet does and handle heavier use as well. I just finished using my device to produce a 1 hour video in Adobe Premier Pro CC and it worked amazingly well. Enough processor power to handle big jobs and snappy enough for everyday tasks. There are some quirks that I don't like, but I'm hoping that those might be addressed when I install Windows 10.

I have owned only 4 computers in my lifetime (each computer lasted me at least 5 years). My first, third, and fourth computers were/are ASUS. My second was an Acer, and I've vowed never to buy one ever again. My computer choices were between this and a Lenovo with a 256 gig SSD. I went to Best Buy about 4 or 5 times, and each tech salesperson who spoke with me had personally preferred this computer, and recommended that I get this one for my needs and purposes. My friends in the tech industry wanted me to go with the SSD. So far I am satisfied with it. There are a few glitches that prevent me from *loving* the thing - for example, sometimes some features stop working correctly, and I have to reboot the computer in order to get the features to work correctly. To be fair, I cannot say whether these glitches are due to the Windows 10 upgrade or the computer itself. I am overall happy with the system and its features. It is heavier than most laptops I have looked at, but I am OK with the weight. The DVD works fine for me. The silver keyboard does not bother me (actually, it looks cool), and the shiny screen issue was resolved by placing a matte screen cover. It does boot slower than I expected it to; but after the year-long warranty period ends I hope to install an SSD. I can't give any input on the tech details, since I'm not too tech-saavy. All I know is that the computer works, and I can use it, and people who I know who know about computers thought it looked good (even though they still think I should have gone with something with SSD).

I bought this computer as a replacement for my wife's desktop and laptop. This computer has done an outstanding job filling both roles....desktop & laptop. It has a great battery life and everything I could have wanted in a computer ... this was the only 2-in-1 laptop with an optical drive, so that was a bonus since we have some CDs and DVDs that my wife uses from time to time. My wife also loves the fact that she now has dual monitors. First, the amazing 1080p display on the laptop ... the second display is an external display attached via HDMI cable to a 24" monitor. It freed up space on her desk and now she doesn't have to worry if she has access to her files since she can take her home computer with her on the go.

I bought this ASUS computer with its i7 processor and extra RAM with an eye toward future photo and video editing. So it's plenty powerful for routine computing and far superior to the defunct Vista notebook and outdated XP desktop it replaced. Two minor complaints are 1) it does not have a number lock indicator (so I use the regular keyboard numbers rather than going through trial and error with the number keypad) and 2) even though it comes with a DVD burner, there was no software for playing DVDs (VLC was one of my first downloads). I also have some difficulty accidentally triggering actions on the multifunction touchpad. But that's my problem learning new touchscreen and touchpad technologies, and is not a fault of the computer. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase (and the Best Buy sale price), and I look forward to using this as my main household computer for the next 5+ years.

I love this computer! It's so sleek and the dedicated graphics card is wonderful. The fact that it's able to flip down to a tablet makes it absolutely perfect. I'm going to school for interior design and it runs autocad along with 10 other programs at once just fine!

I was able to get this laptop on sale for $300 less than the normal price and I consider it a great purchase. The machine is well designed with metal instead of plastic. It is hard to find a laptop with an optical drive, backlit keyboard, touchscreen, Core i7 CPU, and the 2-in-1 functionality. The battery life is decent with about 4-5 hours per charge (varies with usage).

Purchased this computer for college off the shelf and found it fast and easy to use. Love the touch screen feature and flexibility. Installed new Windows 10 and found it to run great, event bought some extra speed and was able to expand this computer myself.. Overall, this is a great machine!

I had reviewed the products and found their flaws. Picked this one due to the reports of having an extra sturdy hinge. Other 2-in1 laptops had that flawed hinge failure problem. Great screen, durable aluminum exterior, great adjustable lighted keyboard, fast Intel i7 CPU, good design. Then the let down. The 1 TB hard drive. It was like being in a speeding sports car and throwing out the anchor. You had to wait. So I purchased a 512 GB SSD. Back in the game! All in all it was great. Too bad some apps don't expand with the expansion gesture and were very hard for me to read. I have bad eyes even with glasses. So having waited for the first days of usage then buying the SSD and waiting for it and installing and resetting everything, I unknowingly passed the 15 day return/exchange policy deadline. Now I have a $75 trade-in. Oh well. My son is happy that he gets a new 15 inch 2-in-1 laptop now. I now have a 17 inch laptop. Better viewing for me.

My son and I purchased an HP laptop and then discovered it would not perform the way my son needed it to for recording game play. We returned the HP laptop with no issues and found the Asus - 2-in-1 15.6 Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive. My son was very happy with the laptop and the open box price was a good value

I have had the opportunity to use this product for a few weeks now. The 2-in-1 seems to fit what I was looking for. Already I have used it for online gaming and the performance is what I was looking for. I have also use it for mobile video and everything is holding up perfect.

Great for gaming if you don't have the room for a desktop for the time being. I pretty much love everything about it, besides that the screen resolution is slightly off looking. Even with all of the settings up, the color is slightly faded. Besides that it's great.
