It was a bit of an overkill but worth it. I7 Gen 5, lots of ram, and Geforce 840m Video game card. I went from an I3 to this. There is an outstanding difference. I saw online (other places) you could find this model cheaper, but without Geforce. So Best Buy is giving a fair price for a high end computer. (Trust me I did the homework) You can get bigger, but this I.T. Admin says its perfect for home use. And a bit more.

Enough horsepower to meet personal, business and gaming needs. Versatile and sturdy product.

My only regret is that this didn't ship with a faster 7200 RPM or SSD drive. Other than that, the screen is good, battery life is adequate and performance is good.

The computer itself is that the top and keyboard fit together perfectly evenly which makes it tough to open. Also, the old battery packs may have been heavy, but they gave you an edge handle the laptop by. This smooth, even case makes it a risk to slip out of your hand in dry weather. As for the OS, didn't like Windows 8.1 that came on it at all, but Windows 10 seems to be better. I'd changed the setting in Windows 8 to not automatically update. I need to find that setting again on Windows 10. Hate that it automatically highjacks my computer for updates and installs.

Very satisfied with my ASUS laptop and the office 365 software. I had some problems with the first set of Phillips DVD players I bought. They quit working less than a month after I purchased. I returned them to the story and they gave me a new set. I haven't had any problems with them. The store was great in working with me and there were no hassles in replacing them. Very satisfied customer.

I purchased this computer out of necessity after my old computer crashed. I'm so glad I made this purchase! As a music teacher, I utilize a lot of music editing and other types of heavy-use programs. This computer runs everything smoothly without a hitch. Super functional and worth the money.

The Geek Squad Tech recommended the ASUS 2 in 1 laptop. I have had some problems with HP, Toshiba, and Dell. ASUS makes the mother boards for many brands, it has been highly rated for several years and several tech-savvy friends rave about the company. I like it except for one thing... the key letters are hard to see in a well-lit room because the letters are backlit and the keys are light gray - so hard to distinguish except in the near-dark.

LIghtweight and powerful. The I7 chipset, windows 8 and the 8mgs of ram make it super fast and powerful enough to run all my office tools while the wifi keeps me connected for smooth and uninterrupted file transfers on my network. Great buy! Thanks BestBuy!!!

The combination of a laptop and tablet made me skeptical. But, I have very please with the touchscreen (makes work easier) and the power of the laptop.

Never had an Asus before so decided to take a chance and so far it's been ok. Doesn't work as fast as my HP, but not a bad deal for the money.

This computer runs well for the games that I wanted to play on it. The touch screen is nice and the 360 degree flip screen is very convenient.

This is an awesome laptop and works well, just wish that it had windows 7. The battery life is good and it supports gaming for things like skyrim.

I got this 2-in-1 for college classes to have the tablet access for class. The computer itself could be a lot better but is not awful. I have problems getting used to Windows 10. The laptop itself is slow and takes awhile to load. I've only had this laptop for a little over a month now. Other then the speed it is a good laptop. I would probably suggest spending the extra couple houndred on a different 2-in-1 but it is good for the price.

This is a very sturdy laptop. It works beautifully. I highly recommend this laptop. I might complain about Windows 8, but that's not the laptop's fault. I really appreciate the metal casing, as I can be a klutz. I would have to complain about the mouse pad. More often then not, when I try to right-click, it acts as though I left-clicked - it's a bit annoying.

The Asus laptop meets or exceeds all of my expectations. The mouse took a little time to get used to, but it is alright once used to it. The only "complaint" that I have is that sometimes the mouse is somewhat sensitive and will take me out of a screen when that is not the desired action. It can be touchy.

I am currently a full time student and have used several different laptops over the years. This is by far the best laptop I have ever used.

I got this laptop on the with promotion sale. The quality of the laptop is great, and the battery life is good. I like the 2-in-1 design. The only complain I have is the power cord. I do not the design and I hope I can find the spare one online. As a long-time Asus fan, I really love this new laptop and I will keep buying their laptop product in the future.

I am really liking the big screen and touch screen feature so far. Pleased with my purchase.

Laptop appearance is great with a beautiful graphics display. I have experienced a tingling sensation when lightly touching the laptop area next to the keyboard and on top when the charger is attached and plugged in. I am trying to get a 3 prong (grounded) adapter/charger which I hope will prevent this sensation. Asus has been no help in providing this adapter/charger even though they picture one on their web site. Asus also does not provide an app for playing DVD movies with Win 8.1 (even though my model has a DVD player) which causes the consumer to have to look for and download an app . It would have been nice to have apps pre-loaded to readily access all features of the laptop. Best Buy told me Asus was top of the line and that was the reason I bought the Q551LN model. It had all the specs I was looking for.

Great for a PC, great for a tablet, love the touch screen and keyboard, what's not to like.
