The asus is VG248QE never cease to amazing. Its a gaming monitor that set the standard for gaming monitors out there and still manages to impress. at 1080 144hz and 24" its a great monitor for those looking for anything for their first gaming monitor or you just need something new. ther price I got it for was simply amazing. I would recommend this monitor to any gamer or anyone looking for a top notch monitor

I picked up this Asus monitor on special and was initially satisfied. The quality was very good and the 144hz refresh rate was excellent for gaming. However...beware if you're sensitive to the flickering Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) backlighting used by the Asus VG248QE and many other monitors. It's something I was entirely unaware of until I began getting a sense of motion sickness every time I used the monitor. Not everyone is sensitive to PWM backlighting, but it seems to affect plenty of people. BTW, it's not gaming related. In fact, I found the problem even more pronounced when surfing the web or editing documents. Anyway, I returned the Asus and settled on a similar-sized Dell monitor that does not have PWM ( the S2417DG). It's more expensive, but besides being flicker-free it includes G-sync, a much higher pixel count, and a refresh rate that can top out at 165hz. The bottom line: the Asus VG248QE is a fine enough monitor at a fine enough price. Just watch out for the PWM backlighting if you're sensitive to it.

Purchased this because I heard playing on a monitor helped a lot. At first I didn’t believe it, but now since I’ve been playing on this monitor I know it’s true.

This was the first gaming monitor I purchased and this launched me into pc gaming. The positives of this monitor are the response times and input lag, this monitor is very snappy, and also the refresh rate at 144hz which is super smooth. I know some people may not think there’s a difference but once you try it, you will not go back to 60hz. There are a few negatives of this panel though, it is a TN panel so the colors are not very accurate and the viewing angles aren’t the greatest. Other than that this is a solid high refresh 1080p gaming monitor.

What a difference this monitor has made with the games that my son plays! It also doesn't take up as much space as I thought and makes cleaning his desk easy.

I bought this monitor along with a new gaming computer I bought my son for his birthday and it is great. It is pretty large and the color is great. Great buy!

I got 2 of these on sale for a fantastic price. The monitors work perfectly with no defects and even include cool extra features that I was not expecting.

This was a gift for our son to go with his gaming computer. The image quality and refresh rate is holding up with all the games he's played. Video quality for Hulu, Netflix and YouTube is excellent. We didn't realized when we bought the monitor that it included speakers. The quality of the speakers if fine, but for a stronger, more theatrical sound, you'll probably want to buy accessory speakers.

This is an awesome screen, I bought this for my son's back to school and it is perfect for his studies and gaming. I had originally reserved for a gaming screen by MSI cause of its sleek design but never came in so selected this one instead and it was the best purchase ever; totally impressed! Simple to install and light, and great resolution/crisp graphics.

Simple review. This is the monitor they use for esports ... at gaming tournaments , professional gamers use theses frequently . Great color , great refresh rate . Just buy it ... it will help you play better if you are coming from a low hz refresh rate monitor . Get out of the syrup and move fluidly in games .

If your looking for a 1ms 144hz monitor but don't want to pay a lot of money for the high end ones, then this is the monitor for you! I've been using this monitor for a few months and it's served me so well almost to the point I want to get a second one. It's a TN panel so grapihics aren't the worlds best but it still gives a crisp clean look to it while giving the best performance.

Bought this exact monitor a year ago when building my PC and Loved it so much I just bought a 2nd one. The 144 refresh rate really makes a difference when playing everything is smoother. It can be really bright so recommend turning down brightness a bit. The stand is come with has a great and easy to use adjustable height feature that I use all the time. It was super easy to put together. Only thing that you really need to do after plugging it in is adjust the device settings and change it to 144hz refresh rate. It’s set to 60hz by default

Finally wanted to make the jump to a 144 hz monitor and it was worth it. FPS games just feel so fluid and everything benefits from it. I read a lot of online review for 144 hz monitors and a lot of them said this monitor is still one of the best out there for the price. Only downside is it made me buy a new gtx 1070 so I can handle 144 fps in games but hey that's just me!

Great gaming monitor for the money. Got a great deal on black Friday so I decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did, this monitor does not disappoint. Easy setup and picture quality is excellent. No ghosting or tearing. I just hope it holds up on the reliability side.

Met all of the specs I needed 144hz works great with my graphics card. Once I added the display port cable the response time was excellent

I was on a budget for a monitor, I wanted something good and valuable, I looked up many monitors and this was a good one, I got during a sale it had which I’m glad I did, it is good for pc and PS4 overall, it is 144 hz which PS4 is only 60 hz but if you have a pc it is better for it. Has many viewing modes and has sound.
