One of the reasons I bought this monitor was because it was advertised as being a 76Hz monitor. While technically true, at 1920x1080p it only has a maximum vertical refresh rate of 60Hz. The max resolution you can have the monitor set at to get 75Hz, is 1280x1024p. On the plus side, it is a bright monitor and has decent clarity from what I can tell after having it on for about 5 minutes.

I must add a disclaimer that the monitor was not used for any great length of time before this review was submitted. However, once connected I was happy with the screen real estate and brightness, contrast, etc. My only complaint was that I wish there was a DVI connection in place of the VGA. Regardless, I am using HDMI now.

Bought this monitor for my boyfriend for our anniversary. He absolutely loved it! Great visual components, quick response time for him to play games with his PS4. The monitor projects SUCH a sharp image and I was very impressed!! Love ASUS as a brand, very reliable monitor (and has plenty of ports). This monitor is best designed for someone with some sort of exterior audio that you can plug into using the auxiliary cord provided with the monitor, to make the sound project more. Also a great monitor for PC gamers. The audio coming from the monitor itself isn’t great (makes it hard to watch TV), even at 100 (max) it’s very quiet, but my boyfriend uses a headset during gameplay so it isn’t a big deal breaker.

I'm not a gamer, so I don't need a super fast or high quality monitor, but that's not to say it won't work with gaming, just not ideal for gaming. But it's a very nice and good quality monitor for what I use, mostly streaming, Internet and word processing. It's very bright, so much so I had to turn it down greatly so it didn't burn my eyes out. It's had one pixel stick twice but pressing on it and turning the monitor off and on has taken care of it and it's not been back after the second time.

Size does matter, great picture and size, and price range is excellent for the quality you receive.

Why are monitors with built-in speakers so hard to find? I was shocked by the limited selection. Pricing was all over the place too. Felt like this one is a great deal. We do basic office work for the most part on our PC, no gaming or graphic design, so wasn’t looking for anything too fancy. This monitor’s got a great picture (at least for our needs), and the sound is plenty loud for us!

I bought this monitor to use in Computer Aided Drafting. It is good for that purpose. I also watch movies on it and the colors are quite vibrant. I was able to use this monitor out of the box with no adjustment.

I LOVE ASUS products. Really easy to set up. It would have been nice if better cables had come with it. Another 3-4 feet would have been more appropriate.

Overall good monitor for the price. I’ve been working at home more than the norm and this has made things much easier for me to work on and read versus my small laptop screen.

It was affordable, but for good reason. It's very much an ok monitor. Colors are not great, viewing angle is not great, nothing it great. But it functions.

I had an older computer and monitor so there is not much for me to compare it you but it was eady to install and is working well.

Bought this to use for an office computer. It's a good size, especially for aging or tired eyes. Happy with this purchase.
