Had problems with my PC, turned out it was my monitor. I had a similar sized monitor for my music recording setup, and therefore wanted to get something in the same size range. I had recently purchased a real nice Asus monitor for my wife's PC, so I had no reservation considering this one for me. To top it off, this one was on sale. Awesome!

The Good: Decent display, borderless, good viewing angles, attractive design, forward and backward tilt, inexpensive for an IPS monitor The Bad: Controls are overly sensitive and difficult to control, lacking connectivity, stand doesn't move up or down, not as bright as other models -- I would have given this a 3.5 stars if I could ---

Great picture love my monitor the built in speakers are the best

I have 2 Asus 279 monitors for my work, the IPS and the color is really good. My only issue is the control buttons, a bit touchy.

This monitor was exactly what I was looking for. It has great color and great resolution. I use it for my gaming pc and it's pretty amazing. I really like how it has a thin bezel which will work great when I buy two more to make my gaming experience across 3 screens.

I bought this as a second monitor so that I can work on two screens. Base is solid and easy to set-up. Monitor images are clear and bright. Screen comes to life and refreshes rapidly. I can easily fit two side-by-side images on this monitor and a third on my original 17" monitor. Great efficiency from adding this to my desktop set up.

Replaced an older 21" monitor. Very satisfied with accurate color rendition with graphics programs and photoshop. Fast video refresh makes this a great choice for gaming and video editing. Pleasantly surprised by sound quality of built-in speakers. Would recommend this monitor to anyone with a large work area. This monitor is big!

Love the ease and use of this monitor, great color

Purchased this monitor as a quick buy and boy i am not regretting it. I downsized from a 32 Inch samsung 1080p tv. Immediately I noticed a better improvement to pixel density and quality. The colors (When calibrated look outstanding!.) This monitor is an IPS so in terms of latency there was none that I could notice. Love it!

Good color, crisp picture. Price was low. good buy!

27 inch monitor is about as high as I'd want to go with only 1920x1080 resolution. The screen looks clean, colors are nice, and the panel has nice viewing angles (IPS panel). But I'm disappointed in the screen area. The monitor claims to not have a bezel but there's a 1/2 inch between the viewable area and the edge of the panel on both sides and top. So if you're hoping to put two or more monitors into a "seamless" configuration, you'll be disappointed.

Great overall purchase, did enough research and after much consideration this Asus Monitor still caught my attention. Thankfully it was on sale, so that further encourage me to get it. Great display for gaming, and productivity for college.

This was a Black Friday purchase and for the money it is a great monitor. The picture is vivid and the text is crisp. For a monitor the sound via HDMI is great. It is primarily used as a 2nd monitor for my MacBook Pro and I have an Apple TV connected as well and am very happy with it. Definitely recommend it.

Bought this to replace failed HP monitor. Store salesman, a heavy gamer, recommended it and showed me the features. Easy to set up, vibrant rich colors and two HDMI inputs made this a winner for me. Reasonable price as well.

I bought this monitor to go along with a new Windows 10 build. I am happy with it picture quality and sound. It seconds as a TV and does the job very well. I do play video games on it however I'm not pro level fps kinda guy having said that I have had not problems playing Elite: Dangerous, Destiny, Deus Ex Human Revolution, or any other of the many many games I own on it. All in all a great monitor I plan to buy a second.

This item is Beautiful, from the actual design itself, to the video output it displays. Bought this item for someone that uses the computer with many programs at a time, because there was no room for 2 monitors. Have no had one issue with it, and it is crisp and clear display!

Very nice monitors for one who works all day staring at numbers. Vibrant colors, sharp text, and very easy setup. Highly recommend over 24" - enormous difference.

Looking around in the comp. section with the wife. Started to compare different brands of monitors. I wanted one that was 25-27", being that the one being replaced was a 23". We finally come to two different brands of 27"ers. One of them, although nice specs didn't meet my pricepoint. The other was only available as a floor model. The person helping us kinda knew what we were looking for and suggested another model with similar specs. We were disappointed to find that the price of the monitor was above what we budgeted for, so that's when the staff went and looked online for a price match. Got the price match at the cost we were comfortable with and the specs we desired, all in all a very nice experience from Best Buy!

I have been looking at this monitor for some time. It has beautiful color, with the Asus hard drive I bought I will say this was the right monitor for me. The design is beautiful, sharp display and great buy!
