The box said that this model was frameless. However, they did not have a display model available on the floor. Out of the box, it is in-fact frameless but that does not mean that the display image extends to the edge of the screen. After further investigation, the screen surface is larger than the display area which puts about a quarter inch margin around the frameless edge. So, there is a black border but it is under the screen surface and not part of the frame. I can confirm that this is not an underscan issue in the display driver menu. That said, the image quality, size, and additional built-in speakers are great for the price. Just understand that the display image will not extend to the extreme edges of the screen.

I am mostly happy with the monitor. One beef I have with the product is how close the on/off button is to the edge of the screen on the bottom right. I have accidentally brushed that button when adjusting the monitor's positioning. I also thought the sound quality would have been richer with Bang & Olufsen.

This monitor is a great one! The picture quality and response times are amazing!

I have enjoyed this monitor thus far. 27 inches is a decently large monitor and fits well on a medium size desk with another monitor. I did just that and now have two of these monitors. LCD not LED but the picture is just fine when working or watching media.

I bought this for my sister originally. She and I are major gamers! This screen is so much more than I hoped! It has a beautiful 1080p display with a matte finish for no glare, and we even have it nice to a window! I'm so glad we went with this one!

I am extremely happy with this monitor, very clear, the size of it helps me a lot to accommodate all systems at once allowing me to multi-task. Also the design of it is great, very modern. I have issues with the HDMI ports, they are kind of loose and i also have issues switching from one laptop to another, they are both connected to those ports and they are giving me a hard time.

Great monitor for the price haven't seen any dead pixels or any other problems with it, the sound is a bit bassy in my opinion, which doesn't bother me as I use a headset, other than that the colors, frameless look, and matte screen is great.

This monitor completely blew me away! Out of the box you could tell the quality was a cut above the rest and the stand is so stylish and slim. Picture is vivid, colorful, and bright. Highly recommend for anyone who games frequently

I already owned this model for over a year now, so I got a second one to go with it. They're really nice monitors in terms of aesthetics and display quality. The IPS panels are nice and bright with a exceptional matte finish allowing ease of use with almost direct sunlight. There are 2 HDMI inputs and 1 VGA which allows it to be used for a variety of things especially since there's decent speakers. They're nothing that blows you out of the water but they are more than acceptable for use in a bedroom environment.

Outstanding quality. Picture is crisp and many choices on settings. I couldn't get the audio in jack to work instead of HDMI audii, but that could be because of my setup.

This monitor looks awesome, i've had it for about a month now and everything so far has been great. The speakers performance is better than what you would expect and manages most everyday needs. The resolution is also great along with the different preset lighting modes. The design is what takes the cake though. it is just beautiful and sleek.

The ASUS monitor that I purchase is an extraordinary value for the price. Crisp display and good sound quality make this a perfect match for my laptop when I'm at work

Great display for gaming. The lack of edges makes it great for viewing more than one monitor without lines breaking up the images.

The monitor provides sharp color rich images. Games flow smoothly with no noticeable smear, flicker or jumping between frames.

This is a great monitor for the value. I use it to edit photos and videos and it is the perfect size for my tasks. Additionally the colors are crisp and match my prints. It is compatible with my Spyder 3 calibration unit.

I was gifted three of these monitors recently for a triple monitor setup. Besides having no VESA there is a protruding endcap on the bottom corners of the monitors that must be removed so they sit flush. Great picture quality although only 60hz. Pretty worthless soundbar that has the audio quality you would expect from monitor speakers.

This monitor has an amazing picture. The frame is very thin so the image area does not have to compete with it. The only thing that speaks lower quality is the connection to the mount. I tried to tighten the screw but even with it fully tightened the monitor can wobble if you touch it. If you don't touch it it is a beautiful thing.
