I bought this along with the Asus ROG G20 desktop and have been impressed by the richness of the picture. Definitely a good consideration if looking to upgrade or replace a current monitor for this price point.

Truly gorgeous display; the frameless screen is both elegant and efficient... With multiple pre-programmed display settings and easily operable controls there isn't much more you could ask for for the price.

I will keep this short. This monitor does have very good color which is good as I use it to help process my Astronomy photos. The colors are bright and have very good contrast. I also use it for gaming.

The picture quality is awesome! It makes everything seem very real, life-like. It adds to the feel of the game as well. I enjoy coming home playing my games. I would definitely recommend this system.

I brought this with my gaming PC. I was a little scare because of the size of the monitor but it worked out well. I like the tilting sat that comes with it. It makes it easier to watch Netflix from bed! lol

Pros: Crisp picture, great built-in speakers Cons: Noticeable light bleed in the bottom left corner. Google searching yielded similar complaints. This must be a design issue. Overall: Recommended for gaming or photo editing if you can get past the light bleed.

I use 6 of these in a 3x2 video layout and they look great. They do not have a VESA mounting pattern, and I had to create my own solution using some parts from a hardware store, otherwise I would have given them an excellent rating. I love that the off angle viewing does not deteriorate the color or brightness of the displays. (IPS). Best Buy price matched these and so I got a great deal on them before the holiday season began. One of the six screens has a grey scale that is off from the rest. I do not use the audio from them so I cannot comment on how well they sound.

I am very pleased with his monitor, I've tried multiple different brands and not only does this one look very good but I don't get fatigue from long playing sessions. I would highly recommend it

My older model ASUS was stolen so I purchased this newer model. great picture. I don't use the B & O speakers (built-in) because I have a set of external speakers, so I can't speak to their quality.

Not many monitors also have speakers built in, which is a nice perk. They aren't the world's best obviously, but they are plenty fine for listening to music in my photo studio. And the monitor is very crisp and does a nice job of its primary purpose...displaying photos. It also is very sturdy on the stand, I've had other monitors this size that seemed to be very wobbly but this one has a solid stand so there is not much shaking.

This monitor has great veiwing angles and great color. 1080p is more than enough resolution. Since its not a 50" or greater in size, 4k would not make much of a differnece that I would care about.

Superior quality monitor for the money! You can go buy a bigger name brand monitor, but you won't get the crisp resolution for the low price of this gem. Best bang for the buck here!

For an IPS 27" monitor and price at best buy, you can't go wrong with this MX279. The Bang and Olufsen ICE power amplifier and speakers are just right for a home office for me. I no longer have to add separate speakers that take up space on my desk. HDMI connectivity and no external speakers is perfect for getting rid of the clutter and it does not sacrifice quality. Getting used to the buttons takes a little time but it is a minor nit. The ASUS multiFrame software can split the screen in multiple work areas although it is best for side by side documents when comparing them. Overall an excellent 27" picture quality monitor w/ many features for every day use.

This is the second 27" Asus monitor that I have purchased and using as a dual monitor setup. Quality and clarity is excellent and the built in speaker provides additional flexibility.

I bought this monitor to replace a 19 in Sony CRT monitor. Needed more room to open two windows at same time. Very happy with its performance and seems to reduce eyestrain as well.

Its my first a giant screen so right off the box it was too bright for me. I dimmed it to minimize eye fatigue so maybe that's why I don't get a sense of the HD picture quality. But it's been great to use and loving it so far.

I was skeptical about purchasing this monitor. I love Asus products but never owned a monitor from them. Great price and value. The size is great. The picture was crisp and clear.

Comparing this monitor to any other monitor offered for the price point. This is by far and away the best. The picture is clear, perfect for gaming. Be sure to buy a HDMI cable!

Set up, style, screen are all top-notch. You won't rely on the built-on speakers much but they are fine for what they are. My only nit to pick is the control buttons on bottom edge of the screen. They are very small metal bumps and very sensitive to the touch. I have multiple systems using this monitor and many times, I've hit the wrong setting due to over sensitive button response. So, it's almost perfect.

There isn't anything that I can say that is negative; everything is positive about this monitor. Clear, easily able to view multiple windows at the same time, and great sound.
