I don't care how awesome this router looks, and it is awesome looking, it's not worth purchasing if you have multiple devices that you want to connect to 2.4GHZ. Setup was really easy if you are familiar with the basics of networking. The Asus app worked well at getting it setup. So for the bad news... Dropped signals, poor speeds and just weird things going on, but only on the 2.4, not 5.0 band. So hey reviewer, maybe you had some errant wifi device causing the issue? Maybe I do, but the Google Wi-FI router I purchased to replace this ASus router seems to have no problems at all.

It's the perfect router to go with our spectrum. Had no issues to go online.

I am happy with the router because my wife and I are both working from home right now. The setup wasn't the easiest but I made it work. It would be great if they had a video online to follow the setup.

Use to have a Time Warner router but switched out and now using the Asus AC2600, no issues, my internet is not be dropped and am saving money too. Geek Squad folks came out and set my system up for me and did a great job. Thanks Agent Price.

It has an excellent look sitting on my desk, you can adjust the brightness of the LED so it is not so bright at night. The website that you can use to control the router is also very intuitive and has a lot of functionality.

It's nice looking router which doesn't look awkward in your living area.

Great router. I added to my AIMesh setup with an RTAC 3100 and 1750B

So happy I upgraded. It was a frustration dealing with the new modem that caused my router to keep dropping signal. Have had minimal issues. Set up was easy and fast for a non techie like me.

Working fine so far, not sure about the 5g side of it

I had an Asus RT-AC3200 that kept losing the 2.4 band. Replaced it with this one, which is about $100 cheaper. This one works far better! Super easy replacement and set-up. Plenty of range. Plenty of speed.

This is a great extender to my AiMesh. Love how ASUS allows to connect nodes via Ethernet or WiFi and allows up to 4 nodes. Aesthetically nice to look at as well.

Set up was easy and the value was very good. I would recommend this device to anyone who is expanding their home network.

Works great but full setup not so easy to do. Had to get outside help because I wasn’t able to answer the questions during the set up. The computer guy didn’t go through it so easily either

First thing you notice is the distinctly different appearance. But the functionality of this product is what really matters. This is a great router, both wired and wireless.

At first I was not convinced with its look, but it started to grow on me. UI is easy to use, and internet is so far very stable for me (I live in an apartment with many interference)

I bought this router to ensure I can stream no matter where I was in the house. It's been performing very well. I plan to try creating an AI Mesh network and see how it does.

I love Asus and really wanted to love this product but it is not helping me out. The network disconnects and refuses all connections sporadically. At least 3 times a week i have to physically reset the router in order to get internet access. It just freezes for no reason, and kicks off all wifi, cannot be soft reset, cannot be accessed via ethernet , etc. What is the point of having a router if you have to mess with it every 2 days!!?? Terrible router. I have tried all kinds of settings and updated it to the latest Asus firmware. Wasted sooo much time on this stupid device.

not user friendly unless you have been working with networks for a living. And when you need help, no one wants to help you. Not good for those who have to install and setup by themselves.

I have using it for couple of year and no issues so far. You can download the asus router app and track all your devices.
