    Not a fan of the Chromebook software! Go try it out before you purchase

    returned it the next day too slow the display was good they have it preset. Google driven i thought yes!! it turned out to be a no just like the google driven Volvo

    I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known the only time I can use Microsoft Office or look at emails saved and photos I need to be connected to WI Fi. If I am not connected to a network I am I dead to everything on it.

    Worked one day and then would not turn on even Geek Squad couldnt get it to turn on

    Best Chromebook I've owned (this is my 3rd).

    I replaced an older i3 processor Chromebook that is only 3 years old. The hexacore i3 in this touchscreen Asus (CX5601FBA-I3128) is a great performer for not being an I7 or i9 and the 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM is also a key feature. This model does have a backlit keyboard which is incorrectly mislabeled in the specs. The keyboard has a nice feel with the keys having nice feedback. The screen isn't the brightest but it's fine for my purposes. It also has the latest wireless card version 6 so it connects much better to my wifi network at home. This isn't a high end gaming laptop but it's perfectly fine for normal everyday use with browsing the internet, office use, and any apps for android devices. The overall value for this model in my opinion is very good with screen quality / size, processor, and RAM being high priorities with me. My only negative is the finish of the interior and exterior only because it attracts the oil from your hands and smears all over the place no matter how clean you are.

    It has most everything I wanted in a Chromebook and more. It has speed, great graphics, good sound and a huge screen. I just wish it came in a color that was not black. Also, consumers should know that the keyboard IS backlit. I read in the product description something different. I love the backlit keyboard. Also, I was hoping to get a hardshell cover to protect my new purchase , but there is none on the market that I could find. I'm still getting used to the typing on the side due to the addition of the number pad.

    Great Chromebook !!!

    Today marks my one year anniversary of owning this Chromebook. I have had chromebooks since the day they came out, many different brands. I caught this on on sale last year. It was the most I ever spent on a Chromebook. I know the web reviews on this Chromebook may not be the greatest. but I have no issues with it at all. The display is bright, and clear, the sound is amazing, the microphone is great the camera is great too. The only issues I had, was, at about the 4 month mark, the keyboard was acting weird, like some of the keys were not working. I took it into bestbuy, geek squad had it repaired with 10 days, under warranty, turns out the connector was coming loose. The other thing is, Its a huge Chromebook, which I love!!!, but carrying it around may be an issue.

    Works well. I do not understand, however, why it does not come with directions. By that, I mean the sort of multi-page document that one might receive with a new microwave oven or an electric drill, etc.

    I have had this Chromebook for a few months and the battery has already failed. It’s my fault first I bought an Asus product, secondly I bought a Chromebook. I own 2 MacBooks they 3 and 7 years old and never have any problems. My buddies laughed at me when I bought the Chromebook they were right never again Asus and chromebooks are a total joke.
