Got on sale for $449 (not sure if this was advertised? maybe just for Elite members) Upgraded it with SSD, RAM and AMD R7 240 vid card very easily, 350v PSU btw, so very capable system now that can handle coding, media encoding, virtual machines and games City Skylines, Civ 5, Call of Arms, Tropico 5 like with ease, Even the new Doom demo in high settings :) Yes a very good machine so far especially when upgraded and have not experience any of the problems others have stated in their reviews

Desktop has good value and can run decently well for the price. Most parts are replaceable so it allows the tower to last longer for the value. If needed in store and don't want to build a tower yourself, then can't go wrong for the price.

My old tower died, this tower was a life saver, great speed, great memory, great ease of operation, GREAT EVERYTHING!!!

The setup was easy and convenient. I appreciate the amount of extra online storage via Asus and the tools that came with the PC. I have always purchased ASUS motherboards, so buying an ASUS branded PC was a natural progression.

I been having a blast with this computer, the updates are really easy to do and the ASUS interface program is really easy to control. Also I forgot to read the manual but now a days nobody really read does but this computer even has WiFi integrated it kinda feels like a laptop. The only thing that bothers me is that the audio notice keeps pop-ping out saying I plug a audio device when there is nothing plug other than that this was a great purchase.

Old HP was chokingly slow. Call my computer guru for suggestions for a new one and all he would recommend was at least an i5 processor and not an H.P. The video is much clearer and brighter than the H.P. and audio sounds much crisper with more definition. The computer is loaded with tracking spyware of over 250 types so it is imperative to have it cleaned right away. There is a warranty seal on the case which voids warranty if you want to add memory or upgrade so make sure you you are happy as is. Only problem so far is computer would lock up in sleep mode with default settings. Cleared up when I changed settings. So far I am happy and found it a good value at $549.00.

BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER TO REPLACE MY OLD ONE.I DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT.BUT I DO KNOW IT DOES A GREAT JOB IT'S FAST AND EASY TO USE THE VIRUS PROTECTION WEB ROOT WORKS GREAT IT HAS CAUGHT SO MUCH MALWARE AND SPYWARE IT'S JUST AWESOME

I bought this computer and had it upgraded with more memory and a video card able to handle four monitors. When it went into the Geek Squad, I got calls for additional equipment needs, power supply etc. costing me a lot more than worth it. I could have gone to a specialty store and had a computer built specifically for my needs for less money. when using the computer it hangs up and blue screens on me a lot. Like I said, out of the box it may be good for regular user but do not attempt an upgrade.

I purchased this computer as a replacement for my aging Dell Dimension 8400. While this unit is not an ultimate gaming rig, or a server, it does perform all the tasks that I need it to do. Its CPU is fast enough to play games, it has enough memory to render video streams without excessive buffering, and has HDMI output so I can connect it to my HD TV. The built in WiFi and bluetooth work well, with no lagging that I have noticed. The Hard drive is a 1TB unit, so I have no worries about storage space. The one concern I have about this unit is lack of expansion slots. It has 1 PCI-e16 slot and one PCI-e1 slot and thats it, no regular PCI slots at all, but so far I haven't needed to add any peripherals. All in all, I give it a thumbs up!

well priced PC, i bought this for a workstation and it works flawlessly. multi tasking and while running multiple programs and it powers thru all of it. i would buy this again specially at this price.

This was purchased for my son in middle school as a starter gaming computer. He has enjoyed it and it has worked just fine.

I needed a computer that was more up to date than my old one and this really fills that need. I'm very happy with it's performance and speed. I am also very happy with the windows 10 that came with it as my old one came with Vista and seemed very unstable. Overall, I'm very happy with this computer that also came at a very good price.

Our "old" computer was definitely ready for an upgrade, but we opted for an entirely new model, and we're so happy we did! The new Asus is fast, intuitive and user friendly (and I'm not terribly tech savvy). I would definitely recommend this computer - with professional installation - of course.

this pc is a very good pc espesally for the price that I had got it for but there is no gpu card in it or a power supply that could handle a gpu but with a simple 50 more dollars I was able to put a power supply in it and used my friends old gpu great if you want a very solid pc experience

This computer seems to adequately handle the routine tasks such as email and browsing the web. It is very quiet and I don't hear any sounds from the fan.

This has been an easy to use and quite fast computer. Its used everyday and has given no trouble. The programs have been easy to load and overall is a fantastic purchase. We have Two other Asus laptops that have been flawless. Great brand and great prices through bestbuy.

I used this to replace an aging computer at my church. It works exactly as required.

A nice PC, pleasure to use, that doesn't come with any garbage bloatware. (Depending on your feelings about McAfee). USB ports front and back, quite usable keyboard & mouse. I did replace the somewhat slow HD with a SSD and now it really smokes. The built in Intel 530 video can handle all regular tasks, but is quite the barely mid-tier video card, so you won't be running the newest games full bore on it but older stuff does just fine.

We purchased this computer to replace an ancient one. The kids play games on it and my husband uses it for work. Definitely worth the money

It gets the job done. Minimal bloatware, and the case actually has enough space for a full sized graphics card (the power supply is a limit here). All together it's fantastic for anyone wanting an above average performance desktop at average pricing.
