Best Bang for the Buck! WOW on the HDD

I've never seen Windows 10 boot so fast as it does on the new tech in this HDD that is explained as a combination of SSD and HDD. Making it just a bit slower than a machine with SSD.
Also, we all know ASUS makes excellent Mainboards and this one comes with Next-Gen USB 3.1. Look it up and you'll drool.
It may not have fancy lights, but looks classy, is easy to upgrade the video card, and as always, has the solidarity of ASUS.
This baby has all one is looking for. i7, good SSD/HDD, decent RAM and room for growth.
Note: no extra memory slots, so upgrades require a clean set, but it runs the Adobe CS just wonderfully and is totally stable so far after a week.

Asus Desktop

Great computer, fast, but wish it didn't have as many extra programs as it did. But not a big deal figuring out what to get rid of. Asus was always my go to company when I was building my own computer. Their motherboards were always top notch. I think that quality came over to their desktop computers.

Excited when first purchased, motherboard died.

So I needed a quick computer to purchase pre-built as my laptop died after many years. I chose this one, the i7 was attractive to me and the other components. The case was a manageable size as well. Worked great after I put my SSD into it and reformatted the 1TB drive for extra storage. I installed a 1050Ti into it and it ran even better. 1 month later the tower would not turn on, I checked the PSU and it works by itself. The motherboard would not work, it was fried. What a terrible motherboard it is.
Pros:
Compact
i7 6700
Onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Cons:
Removing the cover just to put new video card, SSD, RAM, anything will void your warranty so that's that. Don't get this if you want to tinker around.
Integrated GPU
Wire management is terrible (not meant to be opened, so I understand)
So after my Best Buy return date lapsed, ASUS warranty is void I decided just to gut the 1TB drive, DVD drive. RAM and the i7 CPU out of it and bought a new larger case, an ASUS z270 motherboard, some new thermal paste and have an even better machine now.
Thanks but no thanks for this shoddy prebuilt, ASUS.

We were in a pickle at work and needed a computer stat! We ordered this computer as means to an end. It has worked great for us. Surprisingly enough it has very little bloatware installed. We have set this computer as an emergency back up to any serious outage.

Start up time is short and everything works smoothly. You can do any at home tasks with the nice cpu. However if you want to play a lot of the new games youll need a dedicated graphics card and probably a new psu. Overall good specs for price. Would buy again and recommend to a friend.

Started off good. Now it overheats, shuts down, freezes, goes into lock mode and won't open right. Now I have to spend at least $500 to upgrade or just buy a new computer

When I bought this computer, my first thought was that it was a great deal for the price. It was great for a couple of hours. Then my hard drive went completely out. The computer wouldnt load windows. Just got a black screen. I had to return it. So disappointed

First and last time I buy ASUS

The tower would boot up, but I could never use the mouse, keyboard or either of my HD monitors. Talked to an ASUS tech support rep and they weren't able to help me solve the issue which included a couple of factory reset attempts. The rep stated that I could let the Geek Squad look at it, send it to ASUS or I could return it for a refund. I chose the latter. I was skeptical about buying an ASUS system, but this system had most of the specs I was looking for and had a great price. Oh well, the search for my next computer continues.

Missing Memory

This came without any memory installed. The 4 gig card was rattling around inside, and the 8 gig card wasn't even included. The slots were fully closed, making it seem like the memory never was put into the slots at all. So now I have to go return it to a store 2x father from me and awkwardly hope they don't think I took the memory. I called Asus first but they couldn't care less.

Really nice PC, when it works it is very quick... unfortunately, it did not work out of the box, then I spent the next 1-2 days resetting the PC, then it finally died.

This is the worst desktop computer I have had since my old Packer Bell. If I could return it I would do it in a heart beat. It is slow and shuts down to re start while you are on it.. So far after 35 days it has been in for repair once and had to hard start it twice. Should of, Could of, Would of always wins. Too late for me.
