I will have a hard time not comparing this tablet to the formidable Nexus 10 considering that they are both 2K displays and have a lot of similar features. If you prefer stock Android or don't like rooting your tablet I am more likely to push you towards the Nexus 10, but considering the price of the ASUS Transformer TF701T it is not only the best in it's price range, but it's one of the best Android Tablets overall. The fact that it comes with 32 GBs built in plus Micro SD card slot makes it a multimedia behemoth between gaming, videos, and viewing photos. If you game and are looking for a large tablet on the go and something with micro-HDMI that is compatible with the MOGA Controller, or likewise bluetooth controller, then this is actually a viable console replacement. The 72 Core GPU in the Tegra 4 really is quite impressive and the Quad-Core 1.9 GHz CPU is nothing to scoff at. I will say that for general purposes outside of gaming it is just not as fast as the Snapdragon 801, but that could partially be a result of the really high resolution panel. My last complaint is that this tablet begs for some kind of multi-tasking ability, but it's just not there despite that the hardware is more than capable of it. I have not had a opportunity to use the keyboard that you can purchase for it, but you can always use a ordinary bluetooth keyboard with it.
If you have questions about the tablet feel free to comment on my review, but otherwise I will certainly give ASUS a thumbs up on this tablet.

This is a great tablet for gaming!!! I love the Tegra 4 action its super snappy loading all my apps. I just wish it would have had the charging cable on the side or made it a magnetic connection. It seems to be in the way when you need to charge and use it at the same time. It does heat up on the back upper left like others have mentioned, not a big deal tho. I think its a great deal for the hardware your getting, its a real powerhouse compared to other tablets in this price range. As great as the resolution is I dont think its necessary. They could have dropped it down a bit and no visible differences. I think games would run better at a 1920 resolution a little better than they do at the ridiculous 2560 x 1600 pixels. All in all I have been very happy with my purchase (especially with the price match from amazon)

Asus has done it again with this aswsome awsome tablet. Just like its predecessors, this tablet set satandards that others will copy. USB3 quad core and double memory. I did not like the fact that they drop in megapixel but the camera is still great.

I have been shopping for a good tablet for a few months now, I have gone thru a few in the recent past. Associated with the names; Lenovo, Samsung, Nexus, anad Asus. The dislikes I personally found were, sluggish, too small, touch wiz interface too strong, screen resolution poor. etc. After doing probably far too much analyzing I decided on the top 2 tablets out there, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, and the other Asus Transformer TF 701. Well because we all have different tastes / needs, I have decided to go with the Asus, same screen res, very close processing speeds, no touch wiz interface, I wouldn't really miss the S-pen option, and priced at 398.99 instead of 599.99 for the same 32GB internal storage. So far with my usage with the Asus, it has been fantastic. In reading previous review about the unfortunate 'power button' failure on Christmas morning. Well these are electronics devices, so you happened to get one that failed, exchange it, life goes on. But no, you go ahead and slam the product that let your daughter down. For all anybody knows, maybe she just pressed a little to hard on the button. Nobody knows, the good news is, that Best Buy would have glady exchanged it for another one. Anyway to each there own.

The first time I bought tablet was the prime 201 and I like it I know it was with some problems like GPS and Wi-Fi but I still like it. then I bought the infinity 700 and it was mach beter and I loved it. I also got me the new Nexus 7 and I really like it . so I was thinking to buy the new nexus 10 since the 7 so great but it's not for sale yet. So I decided to continue with Asus. I love this tablet. I think the New nexus 7 is faster then this one and better sound when using headphones and without . This tablet much better then the 201 and 700 no lag at all very strong. If you liked the 201 and the 700 you going to love this one and if you didn't just wait for the new Nexus 10 I believe it's going to be great tablet.

My daughter's Christmas was crushed! I bought this, charged it and loaded the Office software so she would be ready to go on Christmas morning. She was so excited as she pulled it out of the box, but she went to turn it on and said, "Dad, the button is stuck, I can't turn it on!" I tried to get it turned on for her for 30 minutes to no avail... Now she is left for all of Christmas day with truly no fun presents. I am so angry! I WON'T get a replacement- I will get something else!

My asus tablet great until it would not turn on. I took it back to bedt buy and they didn't even have a charger cord to see if something was wrong with the one I had. It was 1 yearand 2 months old. It was kind of expensive eith the tablet and key board you would think it would last longer then that.
