Horrible Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I strongly recommend customers look for another brand desktop and one with Windows 7 rather than 8. Eight months after buying this ASUS it crashed and needed a new hard drive. One and a half months later it crashed again and needed a new fan. The Windows 8/8.1 system is faulty in many ways. I hear Windows 9 will be an improvement but that won't come out until 2015. This week I bought a Chromebook and am thrilled with it. I recommend Google Chromebooks made by someone other than ASUS or Apple products,

Big Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased 2 in the past 2 months! First one wasn't working properly, called ASUS and found out my computer was missing the recovery partition. Exchanged it for another, and it had the EXACT SAME ISSUE!!! Was told by ASUS the computers don't leave the factory without this component, and this must just be an isolated incident. Never will I purchase another ASUS, and the fact that the Best Buy in my town has NO GOOD SELECTION of computers and have to travel an hour, it's been a huge hastle!

Defective Unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of my computer hardware has always been with ASUS in the past mainly because I'm a PC gamer. When I saw this deal for around 500 bucks it was too good to turn down. Sadly, within only a days use, I have had it blue screen twice from simply browsing the web. Later that day while playing between World of Warcraft and Borderlands 2 I came across something I never even knew existed... a Red screen of death. After reading up on what this was I can only assume that its an issue from either overheating or a defective power supply unit. And to add gas to the fire I have also experienced a wireless card driver issue where I had to go into the device manager and delete the driver and force install through a reboot just to have it work properly again. I have always trusted ASUS hardware in the past because I have NEVER had a single issue. The only reason I've moved to different products with them is solely because of how fast PC gaming hardware can become obsolete. If I have any issues with the replacement ASUS I pick up tomorrow I will be looking in the market for a better alternative from a different brand...
