This thing is a beast. I was shopping for the best computer I could get for the price, and this thing took the cake. It has a Quad-Core Processor that is very snappy. It has 8gb of RAM for reliable performance. You simply can't beat ASUS. If you want a reliable computer for under $600.00, this is the computer for you. Not to mention, it is easy to upgrade. I just put a graphics card in mine, so now it is lightning fast. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! And what better place to buy it than BestBuy? It's a Win-Win!

I'm retired and with 11 grandchildren use my desktop computer primarily for video editing. I use Pinnacle Studio 17 and it was running awfully slow on my 4 year old Gateway. I'm writing this review because I'm very pleased with this computer, and I wanted to document when and why I removed the side panel to look inside, which broke the warranty sticker. I wanted to know a few things not listed in the "specifications." I found It has a 350 watt power supply, 2 additional hard -drive bays with power cables, the motherboard has 2 empty data cable connectors for the additional hard-drives, 4 memory card slots with an 8 Gig chip in one, and 3 expansion slots - 2 PCIEX16 and 1 PCIEX1. The Wifi card takes up one of the slots if you need to use Wifi. If not you could remove it. It's quiet and very fast for this price range. My video editor runs much faster which will save my a great deal of time and frustration. It was easy to setup and came with a few useful Cyberlink programs. It's only been a week, but I'm very happy with this purchase. Plus the price just went down $30.

Graphics card not as good as was told for gaming. Overall a good tower.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my first computer after it died and this computer only lasted about a year before the motherboard crashed. Thankfully I had the insurance and didn't lose anything.

The computer kept shutting down. Had the geek squad look at it and just returned it for a Mac. Besides, don't get windows 8 wait for windows 10

It's started off good. But my adobe design software seems to crash a lot. At least 2 times per day. Would recommend for regular home use. Not for graphic designers.

This computer looked Ok in the store needed a new one so I bought it I brought it home turned it on and nothing I checked plugs everything only thing that worked was the fans so I thought something is connected wrong inside the computerms no it just didn't worked called Asus ththey said take it to best buy and they will fix it the cus timer service with asus was horrible I just got a full refund and spent more money for a custom built pc DONT buy this

this pc is great for the price. I use it for computer animated design and gaming. the A10 processor is really fast, ive had unigraphics, autocad, steam, creation kit for skyrim, and internet explorer all open at the same time to test it and it did pretty well. the graphics is somewhat lacking. but if you upgrade the graphics card and power supply for about $200-$250 this computer really performs very well. I upgraded to a Radeon R9 270 graphics card and a 600w power supply and im able to play skyrim on ultra. keep in mind if you want to upgrade the graphics card on this computer power supply must be upgraded as well. during normal operations the graphics card works very well, just some choppiness while playing very graphics heavy games.

I glad I have carbonite as backup to all my data I still will need to reload all my programs plus I will be without e-mail for 5 weeks also no one to make a flash drive recovery program that inside 8.1 windows customers should be told that they should make one so it can do a recovery it would not help me because the was defective I think I should not have to wait five because I got a lemon

I bought one and the HDMI interface did not work, so I took it back and got another one. This time after 8 tries shutting down and bringing up the system 8 times, it finally brought up both the VGA and the HDMI monitors. This was not going to work for me. This may be fine if you only want to run one monitor and use VGA, but forget HDMI, especially with two monitors.

I am disappointed with my choice of computers My Asus desktop has pop-up ads on internet sites that cannot be deleted or moved and they cover the material I am trying to read.I go to the same sites on my Dell laptop and the same sites are clear with no annoying ads. Asus should correct this situation. It overshadows what could be a very good computer.

The computer is great for the price. With that being said, I didn't expect the keyboard and mouse that you get for free to be that great- so, I upgraded them. Very fast, great for streaming. After I optimized the pc and got rid of the free ware, it is even faster. Overall great, will be upgrading the insides soon.
