like the speed and disk top but learning windows tiles are a pain to use to the old windows format

I was not as informed about the ASUS brand, but I sure wish I was sooner. This is a great computer. Not the top of the line, but very user friendly and a joy to use.

I was very impressed with the ease of set up and the speed of this product. This computer is faster and has more storage capacity than other computers costing a lot more. In fact it is half the price for twice the product as compared to bids I received from other vendors. I am so p[leased I am planning on getting several more for my other locations

For the money this is a perfect fit for me, I will really need more portability and will look to a 3-4 year holding period..

Because of the security issues with XP, bought this as an upgrade from an eight year old Sony VIAO System, I don't mind the 8.1 windows, took a couple of days to get use to, realized you can set it to desktop, added some shortcuts, works kinda like XP. I added an ASUS monitor, real nice. Added some Bose Companion II speakers. System was under $800.00. 18 month no interest made it a no-brainer .

The computer is a great deal for the price, it is very powerful and offers the latest windows software. I especially like how you could switch to a windows 7 format and vice versa. I would recommend

I play pretty demanding games on this computer such as Diablo 3 and it runs that game on the max settings. I also use it for school and Windows 8 is a very productive OS. I can have 8 tabs on IE open on one half of the screen and have Microsoft Word on the other one and still experience no lag. I have no regrets buying this computer!

This computer starts quickly and runs well. Performance is above average. It's fan is very quite. I had hoped that 8.1 would be better than 8. Not very much. I wish it had windows 7 instead of 8.1.

Needed a computer for order entry at a business. This computer is fast enough and has enough RAM to handle the job. And a great price too.

I was looking for a mid-range pc for home use. I was directed to this computer by a sales associate. I was a bit hesitant, because I didn't think Asus was a good brand. However, after reading most of the reviews and comparing it to the other available options, I decided to buy it. So far I have not been disappointed. The computer functions well with good speed. Only time will tell how it holds up.

This computer is great for any small business or home office. Should be upgraded with ssd if using it for a gaming computer.

The computer itself is awesome. It is quiet, walks you through the set up. My only difficulties were as a new user of Windows 8, but those problems weren't with the ASUS computer, just with MS Win.8. Other than the non-lit keyboard, all components are just right.

This is a great PC for the home but could be used for business. Quiet, fast, and has plenty of power and processing speed for photo editing, and office applications. Easy to set up out of the box. Excellent value for the price.

I was looking for a reasonable priced tower computer unit. This one is very quiet and has a very small lite button when on. When we put it to sleep it blinks, to let you know it is still on and ready to turn on immediately. I asm very satisfied with my purchase and it was priced right.

first system I have ever owned that allows hooking up 3 monitors without having to install a video card. audio is very good also.

The staff of Best Buy was very helpful. I stopped in once to get some general info and came back the second time to purchase. Very happy with the service and purchase.

Asus started out making some of the best computer parts for laptops and desktops. Now they are putting them into their own computers. You couldn't ask for more.

Most confusing thing I've ever encountered. Flashing pictures everywhere, even have trouble finding the send button when I write an e-mail. Nothing about this thing makes sense. Supposed to be senior friendly. HA!!!

Nothing can be set on top or next to the tower (even on the non-vented side) - things get very, very warm. It would be nice if all the USB ports were 3.0, not just 2 on the back. Only one card slot - we use a lot of CF cards - an external reader is needed and Windows 8 doesn't read it well. We've tried 3 so far - all the same result. I would like to have added a second DVD-RW (or perhaps a bluray) but there isn't space. I really don't care for Windows 8 - but that's not this machine's fault.
