When I opened the laptop for the first time I already saw that there was an issue with the part that connects the top part of the laptop and the bottom part of the laptop. (The hinge? I'm not sure what it is called) It appears as though it was popped out of place somehow? It seems like a really great laptop so far but I am very disappointed in the fact that I received it already damaged slightly.

I always liked the ASUS brand, but this didn't end up being as good as I remember ASUS being. My previous computer was a MacBook Pro, so I was very used to speed, efficiency, quick boot up and long battery life. So I am a little bias, but the speed on this laptop was not what I thought an i5 should be, the boot up is long, updates can take hours and the battery life needs to be charged a couple times a day for my moderate use, mainly typing, emails, online documents and listening to music. Also the HDMI port did not work on the laptop out of the box, so I can't use my TV as a second monitor anymore.

i bought this computer and didn't came as i expected the design of the computer doesn't look the great in my opinion also you can't tell when caps are on or off it you could only tell by alittle sound which is stupid and it has i5 with the same amount you waste on this pc you could get a better one than this one.

Asus has 24-7 phone support. This isn't a one year warranty deal.It is for the life of the laptop. Aaah, but how long is the life of the laptop? This is my third [and latest] Asus laptop. All three are used daily by three different individuals and are performing just fine. The brand can be hard to find. Best Buy has the best selection.

The computer is very slow. I have not used much of the memory. It also shuts down randomly. I was working on lessons for work and it shut down.

This is my second time buying Asus products, first one was a desktop and I regret everyday that I should have taken it back when I could. Six years went by and I thought I get Asus another chance. I chose this one because it looked like a great deal on Black Friday week...well, I was wrong again. The laptop speed slow as my six years old Toshiba, even slower at times, the picture is clear but not great. This laptop did not feel like a brand new one but an old out dated laptop. Very disappointed I returned it, and probably never buy Asus again.

The ASUS 15.6" laptop replaced a very good old Lenovo 14 ". The new laptop performs as well as expected, and we had high expectations

Bought this for my son for school work. It's just perfect. Starts up quickly. Fast! Lightweight, but also seems durible. The colors on the screen are very crisp and clear.

Battery was an issue at 11 Months. Asus Service was Great and corrected the issue.

This is a great computer at a super price. They had to ship it to me and that went very well. This is a fast! Has worked great for me.

Arrived on time and very easy to set up and customize. I have had it restart while I'm in the middle of doing something but I don't think it's the laptop....could be a program.

It occasionally goes through boughts of kicking me off the internet and I have to restart it in the middle of projects. It was on sale and it gets the job done... I would recommend to a friend if it were on sale and after giving them the above warning. I mean you get what you pay for...

I am very happy this Asus. This particular computer seems to be good quality and design.

This laptop has been incredibly slow. I have run several applications (such as Norton Utilities) searching for some reason or malware which has been slowing the performance to stuck in goo. 3 minutes to boot up. 90 seconds to enter what has been typed. Overall the response and performance are worse than the computers of 30 years ago. What is wrong?

This product has a large hard drive and the capability to create DVD's. Perfect for people who need portability.

I use this laptop for school. It works well and never crashes!

Died right after warranty expired, even with Geek squad plan...nothing they could do.

Lasts a long time and works well as an every day computer

It's good for my schoolwork. The display is terrible. Any time I edit photos in lightroom, I have to upload them to my cell phone to see how well they actually turn out. Coloring is way off. The trackpad is screwy. I'll try clicking on something and it'll click on something clear across the screen. From being completely shut down, it takes forever to start back up. Windows 10 is awful and same with the One Drive. Multiple photos and documents have been put into two different folders in separate spots which is super confusing. At this point in my career I really just need to upgrade to something more substantial, but this was reasonably priced, or so I thought at the time.
