For my purpose, I found this tablet a big improvement over my previous Nexus which was more than 2 years old and quite old. So far, the Asus definitely has higher display resolution, faster operations and a little lighter. So for the great discount on Best Buy, this is a great tablet for the money. I even like its unique design. Highly recommended!

Worth every penny! Runs fast, high def quality is great, and battery holds a long charge.

This tablet has all the features found in high end tablet but in budget price. Though affordable but the quality is top notch. Fast and smooth, plenty of space, high resolution, thin and light.

good battery life, good performance overall disk is encrypted and still seamless performance, the sound is good and i'm still getting used to the touch screen sensitivity but it can be adjusted, also, it was kinda tricky to get a case. Good product for the price

The hi definition screen compensates for the 7" screen. The processor is acceptably fast and sound is better than one might expect. The mechanical control placement is rotten!

I absolutely love this tablet ,I've owned several and this one has been my favorite by far ,the screen looks great ,has more than enough processing power for me,2 gb of ram makes multitasking painless .I love the Zen UI ,usually I put the Google now launcher on all my devices but I don't need it on here.

Solid build quality and fast. Most games/programs are compatible but not all... Some programs just lock their supported list to specific devices and there's not much one can do about that. I would buy this again without any thought.

Nice tablet. I wanted something smaller for watching Netflix on the elliptical. Good performance, nice screen and decent battery life. There is a fair bit of Asus bloatware that you can't remove (without root).

Faster and clearer than my old, trusty Coby. Bought this because it's like a Nexus with SD card expansion capability.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend to take to the field. The slim size makes this tablet very portable. The awesome screen resolution makes this tablet perfect for movie watching. He is very satisfied.

I love this tablet. It's sleek and pocketable (I'm a big guy!) The camera's are decent as tablet cameras go. The charging socket seems well made. And the speakers sound pretty good. It's also easy on the eyes. In fact I don't even wanna put a case on it! The only things that hold it back from being perfect are lack of vibration and speaker positioning. I've grown quite fond of having haptic feedback in devices like these especially when I type on them. And the speakers whould be even better if they were on the front rather than the side.

A year or so ago I made the mistake of buying a tablet with a single-core processor and I was very unhappy with it. I eventually stopped using it and dragged my feet on buying a new one. I finally went looking for a new one and decided that I would only buy a quad-core Samsung because I wanted one that was fast and stable. In my search I stumbled across this one on Best Buy and realized that, just like Samsung, I can't remember when ASUS made a bad product. It had better stats and a better price than similar Samsung products, so I gave it a shot. It has lived up to my high expectations an is a really great tablet.

Great battery, unmatched performance, and slim design make up what someone who had not seen the price would assume you paid $400. Just an amazing little tablet.

Owned several similar devices (Galaxy, Nook, Apple) in the past and this is the best. Fast , thin and functional. Satisfied all my expectations.

This tablet offers great value for the cost. However out of the box you will need to keep updating it until it is current before you evaluate it. Some of the software in the google play store is not x86 compatible however since more Android tablets are using these chips that concern is lessening... The only reason this is not a five star review is they have not updated to 4.4.4 or Lollipop yet...

I bought this because my IPad would not fit in my white coat pocket, but this does perfectly! It has all the major apps I need available for download. It runs really smoothly and looks great. Although I had to buy a 3rd party case for it off of ebay (which fits perfectly), I wouldn't give it up for the world. It is also nice for reading with the kindle app. Definitely worth the price.

This is an absolutely awesome tablet. Very fast and responsive. It does, however, have one HUGE problem, at least for me. The pre-loaded Asus software is horrible! I mean horrible! Of the 5 to 7 days I had the tablet, the Asus applications updated every day! And you can't remove them without rooting the device. Yes, I could have rooted it, but I think that is ridiculous to have to root a device to remove an application I never asked for.

This is not a bad little tablet. There are a few rough spots though. Th touch screen is a big sluggish and the lock buttons sometimes is not responsive and you have to mash it a few times. Otherwise it has a great screen and it's awesome for just surfing the net. It is also a great price. I wish there were more accessory options like screen covers.

Great budget tablet with 2gb ram and full HD screen; wish the screen was slightly bigger.
