Great laptop if you want speed and battery life

I was looking for a laptop with superior battery life, then speed, then a 1tb ssd drive in a compact 14" screen so I could easily travel with it. I got all of that except for the drive and had to settle for a 500gb. I'm already regretting my getting the 1tb when I had to leave off a bunch of things when transferring my data to the new laptop. I'm also having problems setting up the finger print password. It took my print but is not working. Everytime I try to verify it, it makes me change my password again. I am going to bring it to the geek squad to have them help me figure it out. That is super frustrating. But other than those two things I really like it. Although a touch screen would be nice. I chose the asus over the yoga 920 for the battery life. I figure I can buy a 1tb drive and replace my current one later.

This is an ok laptop for business but the trackpad and poor microphones were a deal breaker for me.
Pros: Quiet, light and compact considering it's CD drive and all it's ports, upgradeable components and removable battery.
Cons: Screen seems a little dull and smaller than a normal 14 inch, the biggest problem is it has a subpar trackpad (it might work if your planning on using a bluetooth mouse all the time but the track pad is not up to standard), microphones were lousy when I tested them (maybe you could try playing with the settings but out the box the microphones didn't get my voice at all.)

I like the portability of this 14 inch screen computer. Unlike most PCs in the 13.3 to 14 inch screen range, this one has a DVD drive, which still comes in handy. The slightly smaller keyboard takes some getting used to, but small price to pay for the portability factor...and the 14 inch screen makes a big difference over a 13.3. So far, everything running smooth. Haven't had opportunity to truly test the battery life, but it appears to be excellent. Overall, a good value. If I could have noted 4.5 stars, I would have.

Outstanding purchase. It is fast, just the right size for traveling and the DVD player is great for burning photos to cdrw's and for dvd movies when traveling.
