Used this MOBO in my first pc build so take what i say with a grain of salt. The board works great and everything on it is clearly and neatly labeled for you to know what to plug into it. Doesnt come with wifi built in, but includes an M.2 expansion slot exclusively for a wifi chip to be installed. The included RGB is a little lacking tbh, so if youre wanting a board with nice RGB look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a very nice starter board for Intel CPUs.

Excellent build quality. Bought because of the white aesthetic but built in clocking works just as well with high end components! 10/10 would buy again.

Got this item used with the price of a brand new one. Do not buy this if you want thermal paste and bent pins.

Building up a system with the Prime Z490-A proved painless and straightforward. Everything works without issue, the BIOS is cleanly laid out and easy to use, and the overall feature set is competitive. I originally want the Asus Prime Z490-p but stock was not available. This is more motherboard than I needed but it really is a performer. Glad I made the purchase. The Asus Prime Z490-A is a stable and worthwhile ATX board to build an Intel 10th Generation Core system.

Wow am I impressed! The ease of use for building my first pc is awesome, came with everything needed and preforms awesome :) I even use AI over clocking on the Mobo and it can actually adjust OC depending on your cooling! It’s super nice and just works as you’d like :)

This motherboard has been absolutely amazing, the rgb lighting is just enough and not too much. The features, the perfect amount of fan and rgb headers I mean you just really can’t ask for more out of a motherboard

This is a great motherboard, purchased to upgrade my aged system and finally allow use of an SSD. As a retired programmer who still does charitable programming every day, the boosted system responsiveness is deeply appreciated. For once I was able to marry it with an almost top-of-line CPU (from Best Buy) as CPU prices were comparatively low when purchased. I am only giving 4 stars because the first board failed; the replacement, however, has been flawless for months. I did find the number of onboard hard drive ports limiting and added a port extender.

Great MB, paired with I7-10700k, got during the holidays, best mb money can buy, got it for my first gaming pc build.

Overall good mobo. Despite not being Gen. 4(punching myself for not even looking into that). Set up was simple. I prefer ASUS over other mono’s because of this. Had for a little less than a year now. The Ethernet drivers have a problem on this mobo and I had tried everything to get correct speeds, ended up rolling back my drivers and haven’t messed with it since. Runs fine.

Great motherboard for the money. It works well with my Intel I-5 10600k. Installed M.2 nvme 1tb and it's unbelievable how fast this thing boots to windows. I ordered a Z-490 board from Amazon, paid msrp for it and they sent me a renewed motherboard with a bent pin. I don't buy used parts, especially a motherboard. So, Best Buy will now be my source for NEW motherboards.

Pretty decent mobo by Asus I've had it for a month and no problems. Bios flashing is very easy and I enjoy the bios/uefi interface quite a bit. The m.2 heatsink/shield is a waste and you're better off without it since they're supposed to run hot. Besides the m.2 I personally enjoy this mobo but I think for an extra couple of bucks you could get one that comes with wifi though..

This is a PSA for anyone getting a 490 Mobo - Intel and Asus still haven't fixed the Intel I225-V NIC ethernet issue. This has been an on going issue since LAST year. Asus still has not issued a recall for this issue. The only real work around is to buy a separate PCIE network card to bypass the onboard card. Absolutely ridiculous to do this with a new motherboard that is $200+ Other than that issue, the board is great! You have been warned.

This is my 9th personal purchase on an ASUS MB. Always did what they were designed to do. This little beauty is another core system winner. It all starts & ends with your MB. Everything else is an add-on.

I love most of the features of this board. My major complaint is that there is apparently a known issue with the network adapter not detecting connection on bootup. The fix is to just reboot the pc and it usually always comes back detecting fine. I found that this was a known issue after some research. All drivers are up to date but it does this to me about every other time. Annoying when you pay over $200 for a board. It should just work.

Good features for the price. The white looks beautiful no matter the case, and the RGB is tasteful. Love the amount of M.2 slots and the integrated IO Shield.

This motherboard looks great and matched my build aesthetic. This board has pretty good quality and the RGB lighting can be customized, plus it has USB-C comparability. Unfortunately, this motherboard DOES NOT have built in Bluetooth. For this price range, that should be pretty standard. If you’re set on the colors, I’d recommend looking at a different model of this board to get Bluetooth - considering the price.
