As a laptop this is a great product. As a tablet it is a little unbalanced and heavy to told. Also the mouse is not all that great it does not move properly. The touch screen works perfectly and I use it instead of the mouse.
I love the finger print ID entry instead of a password. I also like the functionality and visual aspects of the tiles.
It was easy to set up and so far is easy to use. The battery life is decent and holds when not in use.
Cortana is not nearly as annoying as I though she would be which is a pleasant surprise.
Overall this is a great product.

I absolutely love my asus. I looked at so many laptops for school and I'm glad best buy has deals for college students. I needed something light but fast and easy to use for college. My only issue is that it has been freezing up on me lately while I'm on the Internet so I'm not sure if it's the actual computer itself or my connection otherwise I would totally recommend this laptop!!

I've had this Asus 2-in-1 for about two and a half weeks. It runs very well, and it is exactly what I wanted. This is my first Asus, and I did a fair amount of research before I purchased this model. I was looking for something that would be lightweight and functional without breaking the bank (I'm a graduate student), and this computer definitely fits that description. It's got a clean aesthetic to it, too! The features run really well, even switching from tablet to laptop and back is very user-friendly. If you are concerned about the hard drive (seemed to be the big downside to the laptop), don't be. Chances are it won't slow you down considerably and will suit most everyday purposes. I use the computer for word processing, internet research, and streaming videos, and it works very well for all of these things. My only complaint would be the speakers, but that is a small complaint considering what a find this laptop is!

I bought the laptop because the 17 inch ASUS was a great computer, but too large to travel with, and a bit bulky. Setup was a breeze, but I made the mistake of adding a bunch of apps at the time, which I later uninstalled. Later, it did a huge update which improve the machine immensely.
Pros: Size, speed, touch screen, fast wake after sleep and restart, Edge browser quite fast, improved Win10.
Cons: Touchpad overly sensitive so I had to use touch more than I care for, Some issues with scrolling due to touchpad not catching small scroll bars.
Overall: a great i5 machine, very powerful and up to date.

This is an okay little laptop. I like the brand. The machine is lightweight and compact. The picture is sharp. The sound is better than one would expect from a small laptop. It folds in two and so has the beefy hinges that seem like they will last a long time. The battery life is very good. The keyboard has a nice responsive feel. With 6 GB RAM and the i5 processor it is not the snappiest machine in the world, but we got it for email, browsing, and light word processing, no problem for those tasks. Two things I don't like. The power button is on the side, right where I place my left hand when I pick it up to carry it when it's open. Clearly it couldn't be in back since it folds all the way open, but smack dab in the middle of the side? The other thing is the mouse pad. It is very skittish. Slight movements make the pointer jump. It is frustrating. Lots of laptops annoy me this way, but this one is worse than others I have had. We bought this as an open box item and got it at roughly half price. It was definitely worth it. I would not have paid the full price for it though.

Apart from the somewhat goofy-looking hinges, this laptop is a nice-looking product and appears to be fairly well made. The display is quite nice despite slight fall-off of illumination all around the edges. This is not too noticeable and certainly not a deal-breaker for me.
Initially the laptop booted up fairly quickly (fast/quick boot turned on) and seemed to work well using my 'metered' mobile hotspot for internet browsing. After later connecting to a fast and secure known network Windows 10 then started to download and install updates. There were several available and after 2.5 hours of my not using the computer - just letting it download and update - only two updates installed succcessfully while others failed multiple times! This is in contrast to my Windows 7 laptop where I can choose what updates to install and it will download, install two or three updates and reboot in about 4 minutes!!! Later, after the attemps at updates, when I tried to use the new ASUS it was slow to boot, very sluggish and essentially unusable. I ended up reinstalling the OS and things seemed to be working well again until an issue surfaced with the file explorer crashing when right-clicking on files. After some research this turned out to be caused by a PDF viewer installed as part of the ASUS bundled software. Uninstalling this so far has solved the problem along with NO Windows 10 updates. I do keep Defender updated manually along with third party antivirus software and will likely try OS updates again at some point. I am not a fan of Windows 10 where updates are concerned. I understand the theory of forced updates but in practice this currently does not seem to work for whatever reason with this particular OS. I have not researched the subject as frankly I bought the computer to use and not spend hours with it online looking for solutions to problems with the OS!
Overall I feel this computer has potential especially if one were to upgrade to a SSD since the 1TB drive installed seems to be a bit on the slow side. Also, if the update issue, and other issues I have yet to discover with Windows 10 are solved, then this could be a great, small, very portable laptop. Recommended with reservations, though.

I purchase this laptop for my f2f to use for surfing, email, and light office work. She is very happy with it. The only things she complains about it is that the mouse pad becomes briefly unresponsive about 40-50% of the time. Not sure what may cause this. I believe it may just be a design flaw. Also, for some reason, the disk drive shows 99-100% usage all the tine. Even with no programs running. Weird. Anything I have tried has not been successful in fixing it.

Purchased this lap as a replace for an ailing Dell. Was not my intention to buy ASUS. After comparing features and function (weight, speed, processor, build, price) with HP and Lenovo, we selected this device. It is for a HS senior who actively uses the laptop for school and personal. Build is solid. Doesn't feel like it is going to snap in half when you flip fully open. Screen res and processor speed are great. Keyboard feel is responsive. Battery life is good. Light/Portable enough to slip into backpack yet large enough to not feel like you are using a tablet to do homework. I would recommend.

ASUS is usually a good brand. I have a ASUS house Wifi Router that works great as well! I am happy with this laptop I purchased. I used to have an HP Pavillion, also was touchscreen, but 2 years later it shut down completely on me and wouldn't work anymore (cost a lot of money to fix it, not worth it). I now have this one and am very glad to have bought it. It's so much better than my HP one. Love it!! <3 Only thing I didn't like it that the back vent fan makes noise sometimes (someone tell me if yours does that too or it's just the way mines is?), other than that though, it still was worth the price to buy/purchase and works really well and fast/quicker than my old one. Best Buy is a better option to buy Laptops in my opinion...I bought my HP one from Amazon and like I said...didn't last me long as I thought it would, plus it came with no Warrenty, as Best Buy does for 1 year and has a great 30 day Return policy.

Ive read some reviews on the computer, most notably critcizing the mouse pad. Personally, I like the pad, and especially like the finger print recognizer to unlock it. Yes, the pad is sensitive but that doesnt mean its poor, it needs to be adjusted to your liking. The main issue is that when you go to touch it, it sometimes misinterprets the touch as a command to highlight the text. It also can freeze up momentarily. I like the computer, I use it for word documents and to access the internet to write progress notes. It is very light, good touch screen and speakers are surprisingly good. Its a basic computer and thats who it is intended for. You wanna run heavy programs then get a $1200 computer, you want something for school or work thats simple, then this is your computer. I recommend deleting a lot of the factory installed apps like twitter etc, just pointless apps you dont need, makes the computer fast.

We went out on Black Friday hoping to find an inexpensive laptop that would also be durable. Our last one got dropped one too many times by our kids, including the last time right on the cord where it was plugged into the computer! Anyway, this one is very lightweight and portable, really love the 2-in-1 option to wrap around the screen and turn it into a tablet. This is my first laptop that doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, and we will need a portable USB one but haven't gotten it yet. Great screen clarity, useful as a touchscreen when needed, and very fast starting up the computer and programs like MS Office.
Our biggest complaint is the mousepad. It sometimes doesn't seem to recognize your finger, and because the buttons are integrated into it, it can be challenging to get it to click and drag something. It will sometimes resize by accidentally pinch-zooming instead, or it just doesn't do anything.

My daughter needed a better laptop that would be able to handle the CAD programs that are required for her upcoming college courses. Keeps up okay, some syncing issues and she had to remove some programs in order for Microsoft to work properly again. Will be purchasing a MacBook to replace as soon as she can afford.

I really like the look and feel to my new laptop. I was always a Sony laptop customer and now that they do not make them anymore I had to choose a different make. Having HP and dell in the past and hating them I did not want to buy any of those again. So I heard that Asus was a top brand so decided to try it out. This Asus is very similar to the look of my old Sony but I will say that my new Asus runs so much better and faster than my old Sony. I really like my new Asus! The only thing I will say about this laptop is that once in the while it seems like the computer doesn't want to power on and then it does. Have not been able to take it in yet to have it looked at but will soon. But other then that I really love the laptop.

The Asus 13.3 laptop has great features including touch screen in a compact size. Great speed and quality as well. I actually had to be careful of how quickly the mouse pad functioned.
