When I went looking for a new laptop to replace the Toshiba that I had had for years, I was very disappointed to learn that this company was going out of business. I needn't have been. The ASUS was recommended by several Best Buy employees and I have not been disappointed. It works great.

Very pleased with performance and view of the graphics on this laptop.

We looked at what was available, Asus had great features that we needed. Only one thing we didn't know or consider was there was no CD/DVD player. This is probably because of other programs available. As time goes on, I'm sure we will learn to use the new features this laptop has to offer.

This is a very nice and a very fast machine! It has great ram and a huge hard drive, I love it!

Read extensively about this computer prior to purchase, and had pretty much made up my mind before I got to the store. Got a lot of help from the sales person in the store to compare and contrast with other similar computers. Appreciated his taking the time here. Very attractive computer with very good graphics. I like the keyboard. So far, no issues.

I know what you are thinking, "Stylish", as if that is a key feature you look for in a laptop. BUT, have you looked at this beautiful babe! The gold details on purple is what first caught my eye, second the ASUS brand is one I love and trust. I have had no issues! I wasn't sure I would like the flip to tablet feature, but it comes in handy while trying to fire out a work e-mail with a toddler on top of you!

It's a good all around laptop for someone who likes to game on the go Pros: -Solid screen -GPU handles most modern games on Medium with some tweaking -Quiet -Charges from dead in under an hour -Battery life, with the screen at 25%, lasts 6-8 hours (when not gaming) -best laptop audio I've heard in a long time Cons: -the frame is a bit weak, plus fingerprint magnet, but it looks nice -The tablet mode is mediocre, the sensors often switch between tablet, and regular, when the laptop is folded like a tablet -battery life when gaming, even 2d indie games, is only about an hour -this hard drive is slow as molasses (expected at 5400rpm) -SSD slot is m2 (personal gripe just cause I had a standard 2.5" SSD I was gonna drop in) -can get hot when gaming Overall, I really like it, got a great deal through the student discount. The slow hard drive and heat are probably my biggest gripes.

I bought this with every intention of using it as my new gaming laptop. Very nice finish with an okay design but the thing that matters is what's "under the hood" and this laptop isn't the best for gaming but it definitely isn't the worst. So at the end of the day would I recommend this sleek laptop to other consumers, absolutely.

I am very pleased with my Asus laptop. The speed, and ease of use are wonderful.

I was torn between this and a MSI model that had slightly better specsa but was over $200 more. I set my limit to $1,200 and this came in just below that. It's really fast, feels well built and most importantly plays all of the games I want such as Skyrim, Bio Shock, Duex Ex, etc with no glitches. Also does everything else very well like photo shop, music, and surfing the internet.

Has great features, decent battery life, fast processor and plenty of storage
