Great multi-use laptop with a reasonable price tag considering the equipped specs. The only con is the battery life which drains rather fast, though can be aided with battery settings. Overall, satisfied with purchase.

Absolute best 13" gaming laptop that money can buy..... I'm overly impressed with this AMD processor (Intel guy here) and the power consumption + heat management are insanely out of this world....The RTX 3050ti handles anything I have been able to throw at it with room to spare. This thing is lightweight, powerful, and very portable. Hats off to Asus for knocking it out of the park with the Rog Flow x13!!!

    1. Screen is cheap, just looking at it makes my eyes a bit uncomfortable. 2. Battery and Asus manufacturer warranty are horrible. Battery didn’t charge and stayed at 0%, so it took it back to bestbuy to get it fixed by Asus. The laptop came back and worked fine for ONLY 4 MONTHS. The same battery issue came back, and the manufacturer warranty expired. Asus did not fix my laptop when I sent it back, and now I’m stuck with this expensive piece of junk. I’ve bought 4 Asus laptops, and this might be the last one.

This is the latest 2022 update to the Rog Flow X13 GV310RE. It has the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS mobile processor with 8 physical cores and 16 logical cores. It also has an RTX 3050 ti mobile video card and an on-chip AMD Radeon 680M integrated GPU. The video card can be switched from separate video card to on-chip video through Armoury Crate software for performance and battery life. It also has a back-lit keyboard, but the only color is white. The touchscreen is bright and it has a full 1 tb Micron M.2 hard drive. The screen flips using nice stable hinges so it turns into a tablet. The touchscreen (which few gaming computers have) gets smudged easily. It is a one of a kind computer. (Asus makes a similar tablet using an Intel I9 processor, but it is more expensive.) It is an ultra-lite (3 lb) 2 in 1 with a touch screen. It is also a mid-level gaming computer and a competent work laptop due to the Ryzen 9 processor. It can also be paired with an external graphics unit so it is a high end gaming computer. The X13 has 2 type C USB ports, one HDMI port, a headphone/microphone jack, and a standard USB port. it also has a port for the external video card. The fan vents are at the rear of the unit and blow hot air at the monitor. Log on security is provided by a fingerprint reader incorporated into the power button on the right side of the case. I have 3 computers, an older HP Omen 15 - DCX1 with a 9th gen I7-9750H and an Nvidia GTX 1660ti video card and 16GB DDR4-21300 memory, a home made ASUS/12th Gen I9-12900K, RTX 2070 super video card and 32 GB DDR5 6000 memory and the present Asus ROG X13 with 16GB DDR5 6400 and RTX 3050Ti. I ran the following benchmarks and results: Passmark Performance Test 10.2 - !9-12900K desktop scored 9684 Ryzen 9 ASUS Rog X13 scored 6405 HP Omen 9th Gen I7 scored 4343 PCMark 10 I9-12900 RTX 2070s- 8775 Ryzen 9 X13 RTX3050ti- 6146 HP Omen I7 GTX1660ti- 3822 Cinebench R23 Multi-core I9-12900 - RTX2070S - 25496 (16 core - 24 threads) Ryzen9 X13 RTX 3050ti - 11503 (8 cores - 16 threads) HP Omen I7-9750H, 1660ti - 3881 (6 core 12 threads) Cinebench R23 Single Core I9-12900 desktop - 1879 Asus Rog X13 - 1505 HP Omen - 751 Summary: This 2 in 1 is a really nice set of compromises. I like having touch screen on a laptop. But too often, 2 in 1s lack processing power - they are more for web browsing, word processing and watching videos. And virtually never do you get a full on gaming rig in a 13" form factor. So, while this PC is not a high end ultimate $2500+ gaming rig, it is a capable machine capable of standing up to a low to mid end gaming rig (such as the 4 year old desktop Ryzen 9 3900/RTX970 I just gave my grandson). And if you wait as I did, Best Buy appears to put them on sale every few months. I got mine open box at the price of a regular 2 in 1 with an I5 or I7 processor and no video card. It is light, well built with little bend in its screen, a decent full size keypad. and I don't break my back like I do with my HP Omen when taking it with me.

Great specs and weight but very lacking when it comes to controls asus power control is pretty medicore, but does allow you to change states to performance. Charges on either side but video only on left side. Usb c chip is much better than on zephyr 14 when it comes to ethernet performance(windows doesnt drop signal every 6 mins). Display is great tocuhscreen is responsive. Works amazing out the box on fedora linux, everything but fingerprint reader just works and you can get rog utility on it very easily. Biggest gripe is the power control on both windows and linux is hard to configure to not get cpu or gpu throttled. Asus needds to refine software maybe make a config center like nvidia has for optimal settings for games that tweaks cpu and gpu depending on noise level and power

I am satisfied with my purchase. I bought this to use as my secondary on-the-go laptop for both work and gaming when I am away from my primary desktop. There are not a lot of 2-in-1 laptops in the market with a slim professional look, as well as the graphics power capable of handling the latest games. This one fits the spot nicely, at a decent price (got this on Black Friday for 1000). The first thing I did was install a clean version of Windows to remove all of the bloatware that all laptops come with. Be sure to download the WiFi driver from the ASUS support site onto your bootable USB before doing this (you can check google for the specific cmd commands to run during installation). I also updated the latest Bios and drivers, and have not run into the audio/sleep-wake issues described by some of the other reviews I saw. Gaming performance-wise, I was satisfied. I was able to run all the latest AAA games on medium/high settings, but after extended playtime, I noted the laptop getting really hot and loud. But I'm not taking off any stars for this, because for the price, this is as good as what I'm going to get. All the older games run perfectly and the laptop won't overheat. Pros: - Sturdy build quality - Professional design - Very slim, decently lightweight, and convenient for travel. - The screen is sufficiently bright and the touchscreen is responsive - Little to no fan noise when not running games. - Able to run the majority of AAA games on at least medium settings - Decent speaker for the price. - Satisfied with the keyboard or trackpad Cons: - It can get quite hot and loud when running AAA games after a few minutes plugged in (which is expected since this is a mid-level gaming laptop). - It catches fingerprints easily, which I don't mind - Battery life could be slightly better (it's worse when compared to MacBooks, but could still last me a whole day when checking emails and/or doing word processing on max battery save mode) - Only one USB port, which is annoying because I have to carry around a hub everywhere I go.

Yo, check out the ASUS ROG 13.4" Touchscreen Gaming Laptop! It's a beast when it comes to gaming and super easy to carry around. This bad boy runs on an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and 16GB of RAM, so it can handle any game you throw at it. The 13.4-inch 120Hz IPS display is super sharp and vibrant, and the built-in speakers are legit, delivering some sick sound quality. Oh, and the battery life is pretty solid too, so you can game for hours without stressing about running out of juice. Now, let's talk about the software on this thing. It rocks Windows 11, giving you access to a ton of games and apps. Plus, you can customize drivers and software to optimize your game's performance. How cool is that? But, like all good things, the ROG 13.4" has a few quirks. The keyboard is a bit cramped, so your fingers might feel a bit claustrophobic. And the trackpad is on the smaller side, so you might need to practice your precision moves. Oh, and when you're in the heat of gaming, this baby can get a tad hot. Overall, the ASUS ROG 13.4" Touchscreen Gaming Laptop is a solid choice for gamers. It's got the power, it's portable as heck, and the battery life won't leave you hanging. Just keep in mind the keyboard and trackpad might take some getting used to, and it can get a bit toasty during intense gaming sessions. Here's a rundown of the pros and cons: Pros: Powerful performance Long battery life Windows 11 support Sharp and vibrant display Great sound quality Cons: Cramped keyboard Small trackpad Gets hot when gaming If you're after a kickass gaming laptop that you can take anywhere, the ASUS ROG 13.4" is the way to go. But if you're all about that comfy keyboard and spacious trackpad, you might wanna look elsewhere. Here are some other dope gaming laptops you should consider: Razer Blade 14 Lenovo Legion 5 Pro MSI GS66 Stealth Acer Predator Triton 500 SE These bad boys offer different features and perks, so do your homework before you drop those hard-earned bucks. Happy gaming, my friend!

Probably the best thin & light gamer for the $$$

I wanted a thin and light but also wanted to be able to game on the go and this fit the bill. Love how sleek and thin it is but can still put out decent FPS in games. Battery life is excellent when on eco mode and just browsing sites or watching movies. Gaming I can get over an hour. Might be able to stretch it to 2 depending on what game. But plugged in is when you can fully use the 3050ti. Keep in mind this is a low power version of the GPU so it’s not going to outperform higher wattage versions. Screen looks good for me. I’m not a hardcore FPS guy but i did not notice any obnoxious ghosting or any other screen artifacts. It’s also more then bright enough too. This thing also gets hot and the lack of enough space under the laptop makes this worse. I will usually try to prop it up a bit if I’m gaming to let the intakes breath better. I can keep temps down to the 70s to low 80s on a good day. Sometimes it stays up near 90s. But it handles it fine tho I tend to avoid that if I can. Fan noise is loud as expected on a thin and light gaming laptop. But it’s probably not as loud as bigger laptops when gaming. For what u get I am very happy with it. Only had it for about a month so far. I’ve had it not wake up properly from sleeping and I have to hard boot it but it’s not a big deal as it boots back up quick enough anyway. Not sure it could fit but maybe adding a vapor chamber in this thing along with bigger feet spacers under the laptop to let airflow more would help with temps. Otherwise I wouldn’t change a thing on this little performer.

Runs a virtual desktop for work with ease. Occasional issues with the screen turning on and off - finally figured out it was due to how the laptop is positioned and if it's on a hard surface or not. Hard surface no issues, but if propped up on a soft surface I have some issues with the screen. SUPER LIGHT and portable. Runs diablo 4 very well at Normal res. COD Modern Warfare was a struggle at 40 fps - but generally while I am traveling I am not using this so it's perfect for my needs. Thought I would use the doodle feature more but I find it inconvenient. I do however enjoy the tablet feature and find myself bringing it all over the house when I am doing chores around my home. I got it for the excellent price of $800 and feel it was well worth that price. I wouldn't pay 2k for it. If I had to pay 2k - I would get a G14 instead and suck it up on the extra weight. The G14 is MUCH more capable - but again - this was ideal for my travel nears for business. I feel like attached the external GPU for gaming or editing defeats the purpose of this laptop so I won't purchase that. It adds additional weight to your pack and at that point you might as well get a G14 instead.

Closest to my ideal laptop: I am an architect that needs good 3D modeling performance, but I travel a decent amount. Biggest complaint is that the machine will only perform at its maximum using the included Asus USB-C charger, I would give this machine 5 stars if it were not for this dumb, greedy, and inconvenient anti-consumer practice--I should be able to use a higher wattage adapter thay has ports for all my devices. The machine also works best with its back propped up higher, so I think they would rework the hinge a bit like the G14 to lift the bottom of the machine a bit higher in normal laptop mode. The screen should just be a 2K option like the 2022 G14, which also has a higher color gamut--best worlds of decent PPI and battery life. Screen gets really bright, but it doesnt get nearly as dim as other laptops. Would be nice to get rid of the larger chin at the bottom and go with a 3:2 aspect ratio. Pen support is decent with MPP 2.0 with a Bamboo Ink Plus, but nowhere near as good as the lastest Surface products (haptic feedback is an obvious no go). Surface pen and Raphael 530c performance were disappointing compared to the Bamboo (at least in tilt and pressure sensitivity). Overall design of the laptop is awesome with very good build quality. The finish however picks up fingerprints easily. It's also not completely symmetrical. A microSD card would be a great addition, and they could add it to the left side to make the laptop even. AMD doesnt support Thunderbolt, so docks are hit or miss, which is unfortunate. Keyboard feels great, so does the touchpad, but it would be ideal if the keyboard got pushed up further so the trackpad could get bigger. Mediatek wifi/bluetooth card is much improved but still not stable when compared to Intel or Killer. My Logitech bluetooth keyboard gets dropped, something that hasn't happened in my last two laptops, and the machine needs to be restarted more often than I like to reconnect. The XG Mobile port being covered by an easily lost rubber or silicone is annoying, but I think Asus completely misjudged the desire and need for the XG Mobile being, well, mobile. It's still infinitely easier to travel to with a laptop thats bigger and more powerful. The XG Mobile should be a Thunderbolt GPU Enclosure competitor that gets put in the ROG laptops and can take a full GPU. It's already super difficult to find the XG mobile, so it would streamline their products, help with inventory and supply issues, and also makes it more accessible and desirable to more consumers. Overall though, a great machine, and I hope Asus continues to refine future models.

This is a very quick computer for it's size/weight. It's just as portable as a Chromebook, but comes with way more power. Games run flawlessly. My only complaints are that it will get hotter than a Chromebook and does not seem to hold its entire charge after fully charging it and not using it for a couple of days.
