This little device works charmingly well. I feel like my Logitech G Cloud is a game console hooked up to my TV while using this. Keep in mind, it is limited to 4k@60hz, and the usb c port is used to hook up to the device you are using, so really you only have the usb a port to connect a controller or other peripheral up to. I was able to snag it on sale, so it is totally worth it. Also note that you do not have to have it plugged in for it to work. Plugging it in allows my G Cloud to charge while I game though, so it is a nice feature.

Solid charger and much more portable than carrying an actual dock. The included cable has a rubber tie so it's easy to wrap up. Love it since it packs down easier.

Must have. Easy to use and work exactly as expected. Come with a nice braded cord. If you have a ally and want to play on your tv. Then look no further.

Absolutely love this thing. It is the quickest and easiest option to put your Ally to the big screen. Works well and is super simple.

Great charging plug and the adapter for connecting my rog ally to the TV worked great as a dock station. I have not experienced any downsides on this other than potentially the size of the block.

Really cool little power brick. Had a minor issue with it when I first set it up, because I initially tried using a 10ft USBC PD cable that I already owned, but it didn't work. I tried multiple USBC cables, and none would output a video signal to my TV through the dock. Once I switched to the included 6ft cable in the box, it worked fine. I plugged it in behind my TV and wanted a longer cord to be able to set the Ally on the couch next to me, and 6ft isn't long enough to do that. I plugged a 3 port USB adapter into the single USB type A slot, and then plugged in three wireless receivers into the adapter: a 2.4ghz dongle for a Razer headset, a lightspeed dongle for a Logitech G502 wireless mouse, and a 2.4ghz dongle for a Redragon wireless keyboard. It all works perfectly. All that is missing from a setup like this is a XG mobile egpu, but I am not paying $2,000 for a proprietary 4090. I will simply wait until they offer an empty enclosure and I will use one of my existing GPUs. As an added bonus, with zero fuss or difficulty, the charger was able to enable desktop mode on a Oneplus 10 Pro and Dex mode on two Samsung phones, an S9 and a S21, just by plugging them in as you would with the Ally. Pretty cool. I was on the fence with the price, but now that I have it, I'm glad I have it. When you are ready to get up and go with it in hand, just unplug it from the cord and you are off.

If you are getting an ROG Ally, you must get this Charger! The USB C cable has a very nice quality and length. The ability to connect with HDMI to a screen makes the ROG Ally have a neat Desktop setup with one cable. With the one USB port, I was able to connect a USB Hub adding 4 more ports for Mouse and Keyboard and event works with a USB Ethernet adapter, keeping your gaming online sessions hardwired! After an hour of use with the ROG Ally keeping connected, I noticed the charger getting hot the the touch.

I want to start that I got this dock while it was on sale. and at more than 50% off, it offers tremendous value. With the latest firmware, you can use this for your switch and other handhelds. The cable feels premium. The size is great if you travel. Overall, it's a very good product.

Charges up very fast, keeps my Ally running at top performance for top notch gaming sessions. Easy to carry in my backpack.

Great block to have over the one that comes with the system. Game are smooth when connected to the tv and it charges your system fast!

Works great! I bought it because it fulfills two primary purposes: 1. I can use it to connect the ROG Ally to my tv and play using an Xbox controller and 2. This plug folds down for smaller footprint when traveling instead of the charger with cord attached that came with the ally. The cord that comes with this charger is braided and very good quality as well. Don’t hesitate to buy

I think this is a great charger. One of the things that I like is that I can plug a hard drive right into it. While you're charging your Rog ally, there's only one wire on the top but yet you still have access to however big hard drive you got. I think that's a very big perk. It charged very quickly & easy to put away. I think it was worth buying plus you can connect it up to your TV and all that stuff is far away and it's not on the top of your Rog Ally.

Great idea, and its about 90% there. The Dock/plug works as intended, it will provide 30w turbo mode when plugged into the wall and connected to a TV or monitor. The silly thing is the dock itself cannot output VRR because its only HDMI 2.0. Besides that its a great accessory besides being on the pricey side.

Worked great! Keyboard and mouse recognized right away. HDMI also. It continues to charge your ally while it is docked.

I have a similar version of this for my Nintendo switch. And I love the ease of use to hook it up to any TV. This one is better, since the Asus Ally recognizes it as proprietary charger, but it is not. I use it to charge my Steam Deck and my mobile phone. Would highly recommend if you travel or like to use your TV or monitor without any fuss. 65w can fast charge almost anything quickly.

It works as advertised. I could probably get something that works the same for a cheaper price, but I wanted to get a dedicated ROG product for the Ally. My only issue with this is the fact all connectors have to be connected to the brick. Ths means all my wires have to be longer or I have to set up my screen closer to an outlet. They could have gotten a power brick plus dock combination, granted this is more portable with less parts.

Works great and takes up very little space which is what I needed for a dock. I use it for my steam deck
