while upgrading GPU the riser card broke tried to get a replacement Asus says they do not sell this part to go find it on the internet,still trying to find 2 months later,slow customer service

I bought this computer over amonth ago and had to exchange it for the same model because the previous one kept disconnecting from the internet for a few secs or the screen will freeze while watching a video on youtube. The new model still had the same issue, although it hasnt done this in a few days but for $1,500 i shouldnt have to deal with these problems at all. Two comupters of the same model with the same issues. Not good.

I have purchased 2 of these computers and they are garbage. They work fine for the first month or so but then start giving blue screens and lots of issues during gaming that cause the computer to crash and restart. The graphics cards are the worst and overheat which were the main problem for both of the pcs. The second I purchased was an "upgraded" version of the last with a more "powerful" gpu. The first ROG I bought had a gtx 760 and the second one I bought after the first stopped working had a gtx 970 and that one was also a bad gpu. DO NOT BUY!!! THEY ARE OVER PRICED AND ARE MADE WITH CHEAP HARDWARE ESPECIALLY GPUS WITH NO BRAND NAME. The cards are all black and made of plastic!! Please build your own. I learned the hard way and lost over 3k!! I also read the reviews before I bought my first Asus ROG pc and thought to myself "meh this won't happen to me. They just got unlucky" but it did and happened TWICE. The good reviews were posted before their computers went bad!!! DO NOT BUY THESE COMPUTERS UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY!

I was so excited about all the good reviews and the compact size of this machine. Unfortunately three weeks past the 1yr warranty the machine will no longer power on. There was a pop and down she went. Some are speculating a capacitor blew. Very disappointing for a $1500 investment that only lasted 1 year.

I recently purchased the Asus ROG G20AJ-B11 and after a couple days, I brought it back due to an overheating issue. It turned out to be defected. Best Buy gave me a couple options, either replace for the same machine, get my money back or upgrade. I obviously did not want the same machine so I decided to upgrade (why not). It cost me $170 more but it was all worth it. This rig is outstanding! Excellent performance and style. I have several games installed including Fallout 4, GTA5, Sims3 (all expansions packs) etc. and this machine handles all with ease. I highly recommend purchasing Kaspersky Internet Security as well just to make your life easier along with the 3 year warranty and 24hour Geek Squad service! It cost a bit more but YOU WILL BE COVERED on pretty much anything.

It's a small computer it's the size of a Xbox one I didnt know it was small I can't go in and upgrade parts

I'm going to preface this by saying that the Asus ROG is a great computer but Best Buy Store #763 sold me 2 defective units that gave the Blue Screen of death and the second on ended up having a power failure and even though I had full coverage protection the store didnt want to give me a refund or replacement until I escalated the issue to the Store manager and even then it was a difficult time. I ended up switching to an Alienware Aurora and even that unit was broken as it had a broken Power sata on the Optical drive and they refuuse to give me a replacement or a refund.

This is Tru;lly Armed for Victory with i7-6700 , DDR4 16GB and DDR5 4GB nVidia GTX 970 ! Will swap 2TB HDD (still spinning FAST) to 1TB Samsung 850 PRO soon, also it's a whisper-quite system (Like it) Perfect for video editing, phone editing and High End Games! IMO & Xperiance

I bought this for my house, was working great and loading up games. However all of a sudden it acted weird and fans were on ... Weird, reboot and still had issues. Did a restore working ok, this time tried doing a recovery USB item after that and again froze oddly on building, I returned and traded for another. Feeling hopeful got it in and started using. This one was a bit better but still odd. Returned and bought an ibuypower gaming desktop with all the same hardware but SSD instead... I was able to get a better system(in a bigger case only draw back if you don't have room) and upgraded the SSD and HDD with much better performance for the cost. These aren't worth it!

Hey guy's let me start off by saying the Asus ROG G20 CB is an outstanding super fast piece off art work. The good. It's an Asus, I have built many PC's with Asus boards, love them. Very fast even for a standard 7200 rpm hard drive. Love the lighting. Plays Call of duty advanced warfare and Dying light on extra and looks great doing it. USB ports 2\ 2.0, 4\ 3.0 and 2\ 3.1, more than enough USB ports for anyone. Small form , fits on any desk. Sound system is fantastic, just set it up right. Now for the bad. Runs hot playing high end games, get a small cooler and place it in front so it blows air in the bottom of the PC, it sure does help. Bios still needs a little work, has a few problems with WIFI run headphones, they cut out a lot but they will fix it. You cant upgrade it without voiding your warranty. Rating on this PC is a solid 4 stars all day long, very happy other than the heat build up and the WIFI headphone problem.

This desktop is better than every desktop i ever had, its slim design, and compact 12.5 litter body plus a high performance intel core i7 and nvidia geforce GTX 970 4 gig dedicated graphics and 2 TB hard drive.

Lagging , freezing, black screen , power down to do anything

The computer runs pretty slow from startup. Light customization options do not work so I can’t adjust the lighting effects. Haven’t tried VR on it yet, but worried about the performance.

had it plugged into a monster cable surge protectorwith a ps4. fried killed mother board during a hard storm,ps4 was fine.asus has terrible customer service

i don't understand the negative reviews when purchasing anything there is a chance you will receive a faulty item but the desktop i received work perfect out of the box i was nervous buying it at first cause of the few negative reviews but when i received it i feel in love right away i have stressed this pc a lot i do a lot of video and picture editing runs all programs no issues i am able to play games in 4k as well no issues GTAV The division in 4k no issues runs amazing streaming to twitch for 8 hours at a time no issues i haven't dealt with any over heating at all pc stays cool and quite i am so happy with the choice i made powerful quite and i love the led lights so much

My first experience with Asus was not a good one. I did not have a chance to use this computer because after the second day of use the graphics card failed and the computer crashed.
