Needed a computer for school that had a better graphics card. Hard to beat this laptop for the price.

At first I was a bit hesitant to buy a laptop as a gaming pc, but after a few day with my G501JW I quickly realized there was nothing I was missing. This thing is a monster not just on paper, it delivers in everyway. From the great graphics to the smooth game flow.

This computer is a good computer. The only stink I have is that it gets hot, and I mean hot. Also like anything with best buy you buy something and a few weeks later it goes on sale.

I have been using this laptop for almost a year. I have not had any issues and so far I really like it. Starts up quick and has been reliable. The only issue I have had is with the NVidia GeForce updates. I contacted their support but there are some issues with the program It doesn't keep anything from working, I just always have an alert that shows there is an update available and I can't clear it or download and install it. I do not use it for gaming, so I can not review how the performance would be.

Very good laptop. Great for games, great backlight for keyboard, and over all just a very nice laptop for the price. I've had it for a month now and haven't had any issues with it. Good volume, very fast, and it hasn't gotten that hot when I play games which is a nice touch.

I would recommend this product for people who want a good gaming laptop on the go.

It works as good as an MSI I bought earlier in the year and 500 dollars cheaper. A little plasticity, bur a good product.

this laptop works great, the graphics card is out of sight.. I play WOW warcraft game its like being in the game its self.. really awesome. love the lighted red keys Red is my favorite color.. This is a great product.

Love it, not a powerhouse gaming pc, but an excellent laptop overall

I needed a new laptop for school and general use since I bought my last laptop over 7 years ago. This is a great laptop!! The battery lasts for hours of continuous use while not plugged in. I'm also very impressed with now lite this laptop is. The screen quality is very vibrant. The speakers are also much better than other laptop speakers that I've looked at.

Many gaming laptops out there promise alot of stuff and the price is over 1,000. This laptop was on sale and I had been looking at one for awhile. I have had it over a month and the graphics are top notch, the keyboard is quick and responsive and it doesn't run hot which is super convenient. It's a great gaming laptop in every way. Way to go Asus!

Asus - ROG 15.6 Laptop - Intel Core i7 performs and has great storage. my only complaint is windows 10 slow to start up

Final price was a little higher because of the Protection. Overall, it's a great computer, that has little defects that can be fixed with some settings. Both Asus ROG have a track-pad that is too sensitive, and can be a drag for some people. Also, it heats up quickly, and in 30 minutes, the space between the keyboard and screen is pretty hot. Performance doesn't drop, though. The Graphics and memory are amazing, since I ran GTA5 with considerably high settings and ran 60fps smoothly. Also, this computer is super portable, and can be used at the table, couch, and even the bed. In the end, It's an amazing computer that can do anything without breaking the bank!

My son is using this laptop both for gaming and for college. He really likes it.
