Overall very disappointing. These boards are over volting chip sets and when you update the bios to prevent it you get a disclaimer that if you use some of its functionality you will void your warranty. Also this board will not control thermaltake swafan case fans as the usb header doesn’t power them. Pretty mush a waste of my time installing this.

The BIOS updates address concerns regarding potential damage that may occur when using Ryzen™ 7000 series processors with our AM5 motherboards by following the latest guidance from AMD. This includes a cap on SOC voltage at 1.3V. This was an open box deal from BestBuy, inspected by BestBuy technician, board came in not only filthy, but it had bent pins, not putting a 500.00 cpu in a motherboard with bent pins. Motherboard was returned for refund.

We certainly upderstand your disappotment with this motherboard and the inconvenience this may have cause if your system buils will boot up. If your system will not boot up or power on, usually, you will do the following to resolve the issue. Check if the power supply unit, hardrive, RAM and CPU are compatible and working properly. If it power on but will not boot up in Windows, ensure Windows was installed fresh from scratch using our motherboard in order to avoid any software or driver conflict that may cause no POST, or no boot. Additionally, check if the PC was properly connected to a working surge protector or AC outlet and the power button is being pressed all the way down to trigger a power on signal. My os will not work, bios problems, even after update. I still have os loading problems. Waste of time and money trying to fix the problem. Motherboard to avoid unless asus fix the problem..

If OS loading is still an issue after a BIOS update, please disconnect any other external device and load Optimized default settings in the BIOS. If OS still won't load successfully, please ensure Windows was installed fresh from scratch using this motherboard and verify if the hardrive is working properly.

Bought this because the B650A that I purchased, was DOA from the manufacturer. The only difference between the two boards is one is black, this one purchased from Best Buy, and the original one purchursed was white, and was $9 less expensive. All in all, it was able replace the MB for the original build and worked fine. I do not care for ASUS' Armory Crate software package, and Windows has difficulty loading generic drivers for network and video, but that's nothing on Best Buy. MB was purchased online and was avaliable for pickup within a couple of hours at my local Best Buy. I would say those are the two major items that stand out with my purchase.

Make sure to do bios flashback before you start up windows or enable xmp. If for some reason you cant connect to wifi or ethernet, enable it in bios, also bluetooth. Other than that good board havent had any problems everyone else has had here

Garbage board. This mobo will have consistent issues with DRAM. Changing RAM does nothing. This is a known issue with the board. Save your money and your time, buy an AORUS or MSI. Do not give ASUS money for a pathetic product for this generation of AM5.

Worst motherboard I have ever bought. I spent (after tax) about 300 dollars AND IT DID NOT EVEN WORK FOR MORE THAN A DAY!!!!! I boot it up 3 times then it wouldn’t boot into windows and the temp sensors and other components went out. Bought an MSI board without a problem and the support was horrible, took forever and was never straight forward with any delays and refused my return too.

Would not recommend this board. I cannot get any ram to run above 4800 mts without it taking a year to POST. Ive tried 4 different sets of ddr5 (2x32gb), no dice.
