Bad drivers..

However... the Ethernet and WiFi adapters did not work even after the drivers were installed.. it was a shame because I really had my eyes set on this board for a while, but I returned it today and bought a ASUS MAXIMUS XII.. So hopefully that board will serve me better..

Recieved bad board

Took it to the geek squad the next day and had them confirm that it was a bad board ( I will say my experience with the geek squad was 10/10, great experience and very knowledgeable) but once it was confirmed, I was told they could order a new board, which would take a week. I couldn’t do that since my PC is what I use for work. So I was forced to upgrade my motherboard to a more expensive model just to get my pc up and running again. Very disappointed with the Product or with Best Buy.

Waste of money

At the time of assembling the pc, it gave me the error "00", I have read and many people have had the problem. Now that I am no longer in the USA, I can't return it and Bestbuy tells me it is the only option I have. I do not recommend it, I have lost over $300 on a "good" board. I hope asus can fix it. It should be noted that now in Peru there is no way to send the board because it is very expensive.

Buyer Beware

Earlier versions of this board that have the Intel i225-V LAN Controller is defective. This applies to the wired ethernet connection. This is a know issue for ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards with this controller. You will experience degradation in LAN packets and connection speed. Review for Best Buy: A 15 day return period is unacceptable.

Ethernet Port did not function at all

Downloaded, uninstalled, reinstalled every driver from Asus. I tried every trouble shoot possible for 3 straight days, finally switched to an MSI 490 Gaming Edge Motherboard. Instantly worked even before you update drivers, it was also only $199. Asus is selling defective products, please look it up and don’t make the same mistake I made for an overpriced broken Asus motherboard.

Doesn’t work

Spent another 4 testing every part then spent $60 to have a pc repair shop take a look just to find out the motherboard is fried. Nice Motherboard!

When I first brought this, something happened when I was about to use it and the post was stuck on RED CPU and the debug number is 00. I was able to exchange the motherboard and the processor and got another one. This time, everything is working again, but I need to be very careful with the motherboard. I was also able to use my sound blaster audio card, and it started to work. I thought it was broken. Maybe I can do a lot on intel than AMD motherboards. I finally got around the DRAM_Yellow light post. All I have to do is keep on moving the RAM around until something happens. The debug numbers will also help you out as well. Debug numbers 55 and E5 I think is the one that you should be worried about. All you have to do is move the RAM sticks around but be very careful because it might mess up your motherboard and the post will be on CPU_RED light and the debug will be stuck on 00. It might be a dead motherboard or processor. If you have a RAM stick in either slots and not detecting, I think it means the RAM stick is not supported, or it might not be supported with the processor. Oh, and be very careful while setting up your CPU because if you mess up the pins, that it. So far, I love this motherboard and thank you!

ASUS is good but this would not POST with a 10700K

When I tried to use this with a 10700K there was nothing on the screen. The board showed a red light which could be a CPU or motherboard issue. I returned the board and CPU and was able to get working replacements for each. Works great when it does.

ASUS DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY - FOLLOW UP

I sent Lane an email three days ago and never got a response. The same thing happened for a review that I left on another website. These response by Asus are totally bogus and misleading. They write these phony responses to mislead the people who read these reviews. As of yet, Asus has not done anything to resolve my warranty issue and I dont think they have any intentions to do so. Just google "Asus warranty claims" and you will see how common it is for Asus to refuse warranty claims for unsubstantiated reasons. STAY AWAY FROM ASUS PRODUCTS!!!!!!!

Card died second day of use.
